Thinking back to our night at this place, I have kind of mixed feelings. First of all, I would definitely have no problems with staying at this place again, if I ever get back to the Kingussie area. However, to me personally decoration and age of room furnishing are very important criteria. While the Homewood Lodge is a very clean... More

After camping around in Scotland we decided to find a nice B&B near Aviemore on our homeward journey. We had a lovely warm homely welcome. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. We slept very well and had a great Breakfast in the morning. If we are passing through we will... More

Not quite what we expected... we did receive a warm welcome from the owner and our room was a good size - the bathroom however was so small and cramped and in need of some TLC. The entire house has obviously been redecorated fairly recently but oh dear it does have a 1980's aura about it and sadly it would... More

Met all our requirements, clean, friendly, comfortable, close to the town and a good breakfast. Thank you Jennifer. This is an ideal place to drive to Ben Nevis via the Whisky Trail and down past Loch Ness

Thank you Jennifer for welcoming us into your home. We had a lovely clean room with a view to die for. the room was huge with space to spread out and a sitting area in front of a lovely view. We enjoyed exploring Kingussie and Newtonmore. The FREE open air museum is lovely and we also enjoed hunting for the... More

My aunt and I stayed in this B & B sadly for 1 night only! It is a beautiful house with fantastic views of the highlands. The owner Jennifer is very friendly and welcoming and knows the area very well if you need advice on where to visit. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the breakfast was excellent.... More

I have stayed at Homewood Lodge several times and I see no reason to go elsewhere. It's warm, comfy, spotlessly clean and provides a breakfast that sees me all through the day. The owner is very friendly, funny and a font of all knowledge for the local area. It sits on the edge of the village, so it's lovely and... More

From the warm friendly welcome at the door to the cheery goodbye as we left, my husband were made to feel more than just guests at a hotel - we were treated like friends of the family. Jennifer is such a lovely person! The room was huge but more importantly it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in a... More

On a whim I decided to go for a trip with my 11 year old son for a few days. I found this place on Trip Advisor and could not be happier that I did! The view from our bedroom window was glorious and the front bedroom was light and airy. Jennifer the owner, was immediately friendly and welcoming and... More

Friendly, excellent service from proprietor Jennifer. Fantastic views across the valley from front bedrooms and breakfast lounge. Tranquil, picturesque setting. Hearty breakfasts whilst you watch the red squirrels play on the front lawn (and other wildlife in the valley beyond). Kingussie is a pleasant, Speyside town with a choice of restaurants (also in nearby Newtonmore). Great base from walking and... More
