We booked an impromptu couple of days away and were delighted to find such an amazing B&B. Greystones is a grand house, located just up the hill from Kingussie train station. We wanted to spend some time exploring the surroundings by bicycle, so the location was perfect. Anne, was very welcoming when we arrived. Her husband was working outside the... More

This was our 11th year at Greystones and we had a great experience as usual. The rooms, beds and indeed all facilities were great. The warm welcome from Anne and Mark was appreciated and the hospitality excellent, emphasised by the cooked breakfasts and easy banter of a morning for the group. we will be back.

We stayed on the third night of a five-day cycle tour round the Cairngorms. The steep hill up to the B&B was worth the climb for the warm welcome and comfortable stay. Safe storage for the bikes, good showers and plenty of towels, and good easy-to-use wifi too. Enjoyed watching a red squirrel from our bedroom window next morning. Would... More

The breakfast and accommodation is as good as many others have suggested. What stood out for us was the relaxed and helpful welcome; we’ve stayed in a few great B&Bs around the country, but we’ve never felt quite as at home as we did on Saturday. Thanks to Anne and Mark – we hope to be back later in the... More

Just had 2 nights at the very welcoming home of Anne and Mark at their B&B. Anyone who says they did not not enjoy their stay were obviously not in the same place as us. Money well spent, rooms very clean and tidy and washing facilities the same. Would recommend this to anyone who visits Kingussie. The squirrels are great... More

We enjoyed our brief stay at Greystones very much. The room was big and bright, overlooking the garden and the chickens that provided the eggs for breakfast. Talking of which, we were slightly surprised to find it would cost an additional £10 pp, but it was well worth it for the experience alone! En-suite facilities would have been nice, especially... We stayed at Greystones for two nights as part of our honeymoon to Scotland and had a fantastic time. We had a lovely welcome from both Mark and Ann and nothing was too much trouble. Mark was really great in advising us of local attractions and places to see during our visit and Ann showed us all of the best... More

We came home with bedbugs, and the place was not clean. The service was kind but they should have renewed the place long ago. Beds where old at not at all comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast was okay, but not more and we missed the personal touch and friendlyness

This was our fourth stay and more planned. Mark and Anne are such a wonderful host, warm, welcoming, a home from home. Try it, enjoy it. Your only regret will be having to tell others of this wonderful haven.

Stayed recently on a trip up to Dornoch as Kingussie looked like a quaint place. The B&B is packed with interesting bits n bobs and the owners cant do enough to make your stay pleasant. You have a shared lounge to watch TV and the breakfast is tasty as! Its a short walk into Kingussie (5mins) and if you have... More
