Excellent good sized rooms and quiet location. Friendly and helpful host. Amazing breakfast, with eggs from the on-site chicken population - our daughter was totally fascinated. Would definitely stay here again. more
Have just returned home from a short break in Kingussie at the Greystones B&B. We were greeted very warmly and shown our room which was wonderful and clean and very homely. The bathrooms were spotless, and one in particular was huge. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were the best ever with plenty to eat and lots to choose... more
We stayed here for a weekend. It was great, open fires and very welcoming hosts. The breakfasts were tasty and made with eggs from chickens in the garden. We just felt so relaxed... We plan to go back for longer next time. more
We only stayed for one night. The advertisement for this B&B stated at the time " Kingussie offers you sinle, double and family accommodation with your own bathroom and showers.....". Apon arrival e were informed that we shared the bathroom with their permanent lodger and the other guests also staying there. The bathrooms were filty and had items belonging to... more
We find this review to be a little harsh as we do asses our clients needs and desires on arrival. We have four bath/shower rooms in Greystones two of these are for guest use only and two are shared and all are cleaned daily. As concerning lodgers, we have not had one since Oct 08, so do not understand how...
My sister and I stayed at Greystones last August as part of a 2 week vacation in London and Scotland. Greystones was our absolute favorite place that we stayed. The couple who runs the B&B are very friendly and had helpful suggestions of places to eat, etc. The room was lovely with a fine view. Choice of two bathrooms shared... more
Highly recommended. A very relaxed and friendly welcome in a characterful stone house in Kingussie. Lovely furnishings, (fourposters, beautiful woodwork) made by Mark, a local joiner/craftsman and a comfortable lounge. Food excellent with possibility of evening meal. But most of all, a really nice, comfortable place to relax and go walking from or play golf. They have 2 nice Weimaraners... more
