Stayed in 2 Hilton Hotels and at Greystones during our visit and have to say that best experience by far was Greystones. Loved the open fire and the peace and comfort a real home from home. Such a lovely place that could spend hours just looking around.. Big thanks to a great breakfast and great hospitality.. look forward to being... More

The hosts were very hospitable. The house is a beautiful building set in the picturesque town of Kingussie surrounded by mountains. The owners were very helpful with local advice and let me borrow their map for hillwalking and were also hospitable after I'd checked on on returning from hillwalking.

The place was acceptable. Generally, dated and fusty, nick-nacks everywhere, very much shared house with the owners (there is enough space to separate the accommodations if they wanted to). Decor is overpowering and in need of refresh and repaint. Seen better days. But, it is clean. Bed linens of "distinctive" design and very faded, very used. Towels need to be... More

Had a lovely stay here over New Year with my girlfriend. Room had a great view of the red squirrels and chicken coop, and the place itself was very clean and homely. Downstairs had loads of books to peruse, where you could easily spend a rainy afternoon, and we were made to feel most welcome. There was also nice walks... More

I have stayed here, both on holiday with my wife as well as by myself on business on a number of occasions and will always return - depending on availability. A popular place to stay and is sometimes fully booked - so book in time.

Anne and Mark (and Dug the Dog) made me very welcome from the first minute. The house is immaculately maintained and has heaps of history which adds to its' appeal. I'll be visiting Scotland again next year and will definitely be staying at Greystones - it's a great base for the Cairngorms and Loch Ness.

Fantastic and friendly service. Owners Anne and Mark oh so very friendly will be returning a visit soon. Spotless ACCOMODATION great views .felt so much like home. Friendly dog Doug made it even more special. Will be back next time not for work but to stay longer with my wife and have a long break.

The house is wonderful, lots of charm. We were welcomed by a squirrel eating peanuts in a tree in front of us. Hosts are very nice, they gave us useful tips to a great walk around a nice Lock. Breakfast very good. We had a great stay.

This was our first B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed it at Greystone. We received a lovely welcome from Ann & Mark, we enjoyed the company of the dog, chickens and squirrels. Throughly enjoyed the homely comforts, complete with 4 post bed & delicious breakfast.

We had a really lovely stay before running Aviemore half marathon. The owners were really friendly and set us up with everything we needed, our room was massive and really nice comfortable, and the sitting room with the wee fire was great. Highly recommended. The whole place is full of charm and has a really homely feel to it.
