We stayed for one night in the Penthouse suite as a birthday treat. We couldn’t have been happier and were really impressed with the value for money. The room is large and recently refurbished with a comfortable sofa at the front and a pair of arm chairs overlooking the garden (we even saw a red squirrel!). The bed is enormous... More

Stayed two nights. One night was freezing cold in the room!!. It was winter (February) so not warm outside!! Our room was in a single storey block, a four poster garden room so we were looking forward to something different to the chain hotels! The room was acceptable, dated furniture but ok. On entering on the evening it was cosy........ More

Very friendly host and the Columba house Hotel is in an ideal location for access to Aviemore, and Glenmore . Food was excellent on both nights and breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. We had a double room which was ideal, large and 'oldy-worldy' with modern facilities. WiFi was very good throughout hotel. It can take a bit of time... More

Stayed at the hotel. We stayed in the penthouse with our two dogs. The room was one of the best we have stayed in it was a suite. Warm comfortable and spacious with super king size bed and big corner bath and double shower. We were up for our friends wedding and this hotel was great to relax and chill.... More

We had a single room each - in an annex. Down the corridor to the toilet/shower. Not dirty but not that clean either. Well used. Electric shower. Bedding was clean and fresh. Carpets were filthy not been vacuumed for weeks and could do with a clean. Once the heating went off the room became quite cold. When we checked out... More

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and lovely 4 poster bedrooms. The hotel was very accommodating when I asked for additional pillows in advance. There were beautiful gardens and every morning there were ducks running around looking for tasty snacks. We did however find that the staff always seemed to be missing. The first day we went for breakfast we were... More

After a long day travelling from Glencoe, through to Fort William, Loch Ness and Inverness we were struggling for somewhere to stay. How glad we were that we found this hotel. Tea room was clean with a great comfortable four poster bed, a large bathroom and soft clean towels. We booked the restaurant for an evening meal which was fabulous,... More

This is a good hotel, nice location and generally good and clean condition. We found the staff helpful and professional. Although a little tired the outside room we had was clean and tidy (we understand a refurbishment is on the cards); it is however great if you have as us a dog. One of the best things about this hotel... More

We went for evening dinner and had a fabulous meal. Too full unfortunately to manage dessert! The wine was excellent and ambience was very relaxing. The service was excellent and very friendly. Would recommend. The single track driving up to the hotel needs some serious work. Very potholed - drive carefully!
