I took the missus away for her birthday weekend. Something different from our metropolistic lives. It was an amazing place and an amazing stay at the Arden House. Barbara is the owner and is a charming lady, good knowledge in the area and even had a lovely birthday card for the lady at breakfast on her birthday. Breakfast was lovely.... more

We spent 6 wonderful days in beautiful and charming Kingussie. The family owners couldn't have been more accommodating. They all genuinely cared about our comfort. They treated us like extended family members. The room was perfect , the breakfasts delicious, hearty and filling and the location of the home with its' decor was the stuff of fairy tales. Guest House is clean and the room we had was a double room and it was really lovely. The only negative points are that breakfast is only served from 8.15am - 8.45am and you have to check out by 10am. more

Stayed at Arden House for a few nights in June last year with my boyfriend and could not have had a nicer stay in one of their four poster rooms. Flowers before departure and a lovely breakfast. One of the most hospitable guest houses I have ever stayed in. What a lovely family with their adorable children. It is rare... more

Arden House was a wonderful refuge, right in Kingussie. The proprietress welcomed us with homemade tea and cake, and our room had a lovely four-poster bed. Our only complaint was the water pressure, which was lacking at prime times. more
