This elegant home is set a few blocks up the hill from Kingussie's high street with beautiful views and a lovely rear garden. Parking places are available for those who want to use this as a home-base for driving tours. The rooms are spotless, well-appointed, inviting and warm. The B&B website's photos do not do the accommodations justice. Our hosts... More

Extremely friendly couple, run the Glengarry who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Great food and extremely clean and comfortable. We found this to be an ideal base from which to discover the Highlands. Our first venture into B&B's and greatly impressed!

Annually for over 15 years of absolute enjoyment we have experienced staying with Roger and Janet who always look after us with great care and consideration. The house is immaculate with well decorated and provisioned rooms. We always stay in the front southern room for the views over the garden to the mountains Terrific breakfast room and menu -- try... This B&B was perfect for our exploration of the amazing Cairngorm Mountains, the Scottish Highland Folk Museum, and Kingussie area. The owners were extremely helpful with suggestions of unique places to visit in the area, including the best place to eat cake and watch birds, The Potting Shed Tearoom! Plus, the hostess makes her own wonderful marmalades and other culinary delights.

Everything is perfect in this amazing find - definitely our favourite B+B in the Highlands and we have been regularly travelling in Scotland for over twenty years. Roger and Janet are fabulous hosts who make you feel incredibly welcome and offer you plenty of conversation without ever it being too much. The rooms are immaculate with lots of extras including... Set in a lovely Cairngorms town about 25 minutes from the Cairngorms funicular with the surrounding countryside as stunning as expected, this is a perfect base to explore the area from. The proprietors are friendly and helpful, with the rooms beautifully maintained and great breakfasts. Highly recommended.

Janet and Roger are the most friendly and accommodating hosts. A beautiful house, well looked after and spotlessly clean. We would recommend to anybody visiting the area and Cairngorm mountain for snow sports. Steve & Mel

A very friendly welcome by Roger and Joyce with tea and cake in the lovely garden! The house was spotlessly clean, en-suite rooms were extremely comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. We also had "our own" cosy lounge. Joyce & Roger are the perfect hosts!

We stayed only one night but Janet and Roger were super friendly and very nice and helpful. The room we stayed in, the Owl, had many nice touches, a lovely bathroom, although we were told the other rooms had nice views, we were grateful to be booked at all in there, as usually there is a two night minimum this... I booked the room based on recommendations from Secret Scotland and it was spot on! I had the "Owl" room which was nice and large with an ensuite bathroom. No stand up shower, but hand held shower in the tub - which was not an issue with me as I love a good soak in a tub. The towels were... More
