We stayed here using a groupon deal and found the hotel to be a wee bit rundown. One of my husbands pillows was very grubby it had a dead spider on it and didnt even have a pillowcase on. Unfortunately we didn't find that out until very late at night. When we told the receptionist when booking out we eventually... More

Visited the restaurant part which was not a pleasant experience. The Cullen Skink was merely ok (too much cream), the pork medallions were in some sort of mash with bits in it. I think they were cranberries, but they could've been anything really. Service was poor to dire. Everyone watches Gordon Ramsay! If you have a specials board.....point it out!... More

If you are looking for a quiet retreat not too far outside Edinburgh then this place will suit you fine. The food is fantastic and be aware you will need to have a big appetite to finish everything . however there is a down side the bar prices are very expensive so be warned

Me and my husband stayed at this hotel last night...WOW !!! the staff were fab, made me and my husband very welcome. Our room was not ready on time but that to us was no problem the lady at the bar was so helpful and chatty and she bought us a cup of tea while we waited. Our room was... More

I had a Wowcher for a stay here. Booking was slightly longwinded in that I emailed, was asked to phone, did so but was told the lady who did the booking was not in for several days and eventually confirmed everything by email which was fine. After an unfortunate experience with Easyjet, I ended up missing the first night’s stay... More

Disappointed with a recent visit to this hotel. Staff overheard bickering, walking around with faces like thunder with customers telling them to cheer up. Different prices being charged every time you went to the bar for the same two drinks. Having to ask for milk because there was none on the breakfast table and being told "it's over there" in... My fiancee and myself drove up from Pitlochry as we saw online that a tea room was advertised and we wanted to see what it would be like for us as a possible wedding venue. When we arrived it looked run down with two big umbrellas on the ground even though one member of staff was outside but walked passed.... More

We are sorry that you did not find your visit to the Bridge of Cally hotel a good one. The night before had been our annual ale festival and we were still in the process of cleaning up after the busy night we had had.The member of staff that you saw outside was in the process of taking down the... We stayed here on a groupon voucher which included dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings. It was excellent value and it exceeded our expectations. The location is remote so do remember to stock up on any snacks/drinks etc as the nearest supermarket is in Blairgowrie around 10/15 minutes away. We arrived at 2pm as this was the... More

Stopped here for a coffee but seems there was only one person in charge. The coffee was good but the service was poor due to lack of staff. The hotel definitely has potential if staffing levels were improved. Nice fire in the lounge bar.
