From the outside it looks a little rustic but have no fears the bed rooms are commodious, spotless, excellent linen and the en suites modern. The bar had only one real ale but plenty of whiskys and friendly customers. Staff very efficient.The food was excellent for such a small place and the conservtory dining area was well full. As a surprise getaway for my husbands birthday I could not have picked a better location. Lovely hotel with a 'homely' bar and comfy sofas. Fabulous food and a great atmosphere. A group of 11 of us spent a weekend here and were well impressed. The service was excellent, food delicious and we felt very looked after. We would love to come back in October.
