Stayed here for 2 nights 12/13 December. On arrival room was so cold people were sitting in the bar trying to get a heat, complaining. Informed the boiler had gone off but would be fixed. It was -7 outside and snowing. Heating came on after 5 hours or so. We had no TV working and it was 10pm before anyone... More

Stayed for two nights on an Amazon voucher 20th and 21st November. Absolutely no complaints. A bit remote but this suited us. Room spotless and very comfy bed. Food was excellent as was the service. Staff very friendly and helpful. Weather could have been kinder, but didn't keep us in. Lovely walks, wee drive to Braemar. Ate in hotel first... More

Stayed for a weekend, food, ale and whisky excellent, staff friendly. But by their answers and body language when we asked for a room change (hotel full so none available) for the second night, it was clear they all knew that Room 7 is not fit for purpose, being structurally connected to the two industrial quality extraction fans in the... This hotel has been used by our medical education group on numerous occasions in the past decade under several ownerships. I am sad & sorry to report that despite an excellent location ( roads, walking routes & rivers) the current hotel was a significant disappointment during our recent visit. The food was lukewarm, vegetarian menu choices not available & unable to adapt... More

Just returned from spending 2 night at this cracking hotel, absolutely brilliant time, the food was superb the staff very friendly and the rooms were spotless. We were in a room overlooking the road and bridge but we never heard the traffic outside. This is a great hotel for travelling around the Perthshire countryside. Myself and my wife enjoyed it... A lovely little hotel in a very picturesque setting, we visited in November and although the weather was not at it best on the first night we had a fabulous stay, the hotel is comfortable and we had a huge bed!!! The food was lovely and the service was good from the minute we arrived the menu is good and... More

Spent the weekend at the Bridge of Cally and can't wait till I can get back up for another stay. The room we had was comfortable and clean with a stunning view of the river. The dinner was really good home made food and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful nothing was too much... More

Stayed 1 night on our return south from speyside. A small country hotel with atmosphere, and no nearby competition foodwise: our dinner was good but not exceptional. Excellent breakfast, though. Comfortable bed, but the bathroom needs freshening up, and we could hear our neighbours in the room next door. Fine for a stopover or a weekend break, but we would... More
