We only stayed here a night, We pulled up at the reception and before we were of the car the manger, Paul, was there to assist with luggage and check in Our room was at the front and looked out at a beautiful vista. It was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dated and lacked a shower,... More

As Country House Hotels go...........this is it! A wonderful building inside, just full of old paintings, skins and Deer with their heads poking through the wall. Log fires, huge hearths............settle back and relax. Bags of history everywhere and a place that those from over the Pond would love. The bar is excellent with quality cocktails, a Bloody Mary to remember,... More

Located about an hour North of Perth, Kinloch House is an oasis of peace and good taste. The manor house is elegant but also "worn" enough to be almost shabby chic. The food is good, but not exceptional in the sense that although the meals are satisfying, they do not stand out. The service, however is exceptional. A close-knit staff... More

This hotel is ideal if you are seeking peace, quiet and a very good meal. We had a wonderful stay here, our third in three years. The public areas, three small lounges and a conservatory are beautifully fitted out and most relaxing. The rooms too are gorgeous but old-fashioned, befitting a country house hotel. The corridors and hallways are also... More

Can't recommend this hotel enough ! It was superb . Great to look at from the outside and just as beautiful inside . Wonderful gardens at the back including an old walled garden . Lovely room overlooking the front of the hotel with nice seating area and great bathroom . Dinner was fantastic , relaxed , tasty and nicely presented... More

We stayed at Kinloch House for 2 nights as part of our mini tour of Scotland. Although we arrived late we were greeted with a warm welcome. Both rooms were a great size and very comfortable. The Allen family & staff catered for our every need, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, the homemade bread was... More

This was a return trip to Kinloch House and the standard has sadly declined significantly. The house is wonderful and the surroundings beautiful but it is no longer a Relais Chateau experience. The house is looking tired and the staff no longer create that great Scottish experience. If we were paying for three star accommodation it would be fine but... More

We were in need of a few days relaxation after a hectic schedule. Kinloch House was the perfect place. It was more like a guest house from a bygone era rather than a modern hotel. The public rooms were beautifully appointed with art work, artifacts and comfortable stuffed chairs. The service was what one would expect, discreet but always there.... More

Only stayed one night but would recommend to anyone. Very very quiet with all needs catered for in this fine old country house. Definitely a 'sports' feel and lovely, large open fires. Fine wines, fine food and great 'hosts'. Slightly disappointed not to have tea or coffee available in the room - although there is room service available. Also, we... More

We visited over the early May Bank Holiday - it was nice to find a hotel that would allow us to stay for just 2 nights (many require a minimum 3-night stay for Bank Holiday weekends), and it was convenient to get to from Edinburgh Airport, being not much more than an hour's drive (or it would have been had...
