What a treat to stay at Kinloch House! We stayed in the Clunie suite which was lovely. A bit odd to have carpeting on the bathroom floor and no shower but we loved the huge room and comfortable bed. The rest of the house is refined relaxation with tea by the fire in the afternoon and whisky in the evening.... More

We spent one night at this fabulous house. As soon as you enter the driveway you know its going to be special. We were upgraded and our room was amazing, decorated to a very high standard, with great view over surrounding countryside. It has various rooms to sit in filled with all kinds of lovely things to look at. It... More

The arrival and welcome was very good, the bedroom excellent with lovely surroundings and an interesting walled garden all of which were rather let down by a first experience for me in the restaurant at dinner. Food and wine are ordered in advance, we had Megrim sole mains, also a first for us but too large and not as tasty... More

Kinloch House is one of those gems that should not be missed if you are in the area. . The splendid house and grounds are coupled with a truly wonderful staff that are there to help in every way. The bedrooms are spacious and welcoming as are the many public rooms with open fires and comfortable sofas. Strolling through the... More

It is a lovely estate. Beautiful rooms, delicious food, gorgeous grounds, wonderful scenery. However, the service is not anywhere near worthy of the rating. I will say that the room was continually kept immaculate and toiletries/bottled water were replaced. That is the extent of the luxury here. For example, we had an early morning the next day so we requested... More

We only stayed here a night, We pulled up at the reception and before we were of the car the manger, Paul, was there to assist with luggage and check in Our room was at the front and looked out at a beautiful vista. It was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dated and lacked a shower,... More

As Country House Hotels go...........this is it! A wonderful building inside, just full of old paintings, skins and Deer with their heads poking through the wall. Log fires, huge hearths............settle back and relax. Bags of history everywhere and a place that those from over the Pond would love. The bar is excellent with quality cocktails, a Bloody Mary to remember,... More

Located about an hour North of Perth, Kinloch House is an oasis of peace and good taste. The manor house is elegant but also "worn" enough to be almost shabby chic. The food is good, but not exceptional in the sense that although the meals are satisfying, they do not stand out. The service, however is exceptional. A close-knit staff... More

This hotel is ideal if you are seeking peace, quiet and a very good meal. We had a wonderful stay here, our third in three years. The public areas, three small lounges and a conservatory are beautifully fitted out and most relaxing. The rooms too are gorgeous but old-fashioned, befitting a country house hotel. The corridors and hallways are also... More
