We've been twice now and it's taken me ages to review it because we've got two young children and I'm a bit behind. BUT….it's a great place. The highlights: the fires, the stuffed bear, the quiet, the drink, the sense of having time to do things, the location, the food. In fact the food should get a mention all of... More

Stayed here for one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. It was exactly what we expected - warm and inviting yet totally professional. The service was immaculate and the food was excellent, Anyone wishing to experience the quiet charm and elegance of a bygone age should book into this wonderful country house - the owners and their staff... This hotel just gets better every time we visit. Superbly located in the Perthshire hills it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy local attractions such as Glamis castle. The hotel is beautiful with large and comfortable lounges, attentive and friendly staff, large rooms and excellent food. For wine lovers the list is excellent and sensibly priced. This hotel... We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay and the fabulous Kinloch House Hotel. On arrival, the staff came to the door to greet us and unpacked our luggage from the car. We were given a complementary upgrade to a junior suite which is furnished in a traditional style. As with previous reviews, there were a couple of... More

Upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise for my 55th birthday - nice views, heaps of space and a good start to our stay! The hotel was quiet (early February) with just a handful of guests so we had the big open fire in one of two drawing rooms to ourselves for our predinner drinks. The dinner that... More

I'm staggered that there are any (albeit only a very few) negative reviews for this hotel having stayed there recently. We had a really excellent stay at Kinloch House and were allocated the turreted Marlee suite at no extra charge. It was really spacious, very comfortable and absolutely spotless. The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, the food was... More

We had a wonderful stay at Kinloch House. The boutique hotel was very elegant and had an authentic old world feel about it. The wood panelled walls, roaring fires and general coziness of the hotel were just perfect. Staff could not be more helpful and quality of finish was extremely high. Food also faultless.

Would just like to echo most of the comments made by other reviewers, we enjoyed a lovely overnight dinner, bed and breakfast stay at Kinloch, the weather outside was snowy and freezing however the welcome we received was warm and welcoming. Terrific staff who could not do enough to help (they even helped dig the car out from the snow... More

We took advantage of a special deal for D,B&B, having been told it was a 5 star luxury establishment. The house itself has the wow factor in that it's very traditionally, beautifully & comfortably decorated & furnished. We felt like we were in a rich elderly relatives country retreat, but in a good way! We had a lovely bedroom with... More

We booked this hotel using an online voucher website and got an excellent deal. When we arrived we were shown to the best bedroom/living room suite and told that it was available and would cost no more than the one we had booked. The rooms and the bathroom were huge and very comfortable with great views of the surrounding countryside. The manager helped...
