Booked at last minute, arrived late, none of this was any problem. Warm welcome on arrival and a wee supper was easily arranged in the bar. This hotel is just what you need when travelling to a remote area - it was warm, friendly and had attentive service. I really thought the hotel food was great and would recomend the venison. It is a great base to see the delights of Scotland. My only compliant was that my time was over too quickly at Altamount!
