Looking out the windows of this lovely place, classical music just floats through your head. Like a picture postcard in the highlands, Glenkilrie is a living, working farm that is warm and welcoming. Morag was very sweet in meeting our needs, and cooks a great breakfast. Very relaxing, comfortable beds and a lovely setting.

I would highly recommend this place! The surroundings are beautiful! We actually woke up on our first morning with a deer at our window! The house is stunning and the rooms are clean and spacious! The breakfast was fantastic and Morag was a fabulous host. We will definitely be coming back here - for proximity to Glenshee and value for money this would... More

Really superb. Friendly host, lovely breakfast. More than helpful in helping us with our plans. We will return to bag more Monroes. Thank you. Glenshee range about 15 minute drive, Blairgowrie 20 minutes in other direction.

From the moment we arrived on Thursday evening until we left Sunday morning, we had a fantastic time. The bedrooms and bathrooms were warm and clean, the dining room was just suited to the hearty breakfast excellently cooked by Morag and the lounge for residents, warm and welcoming. Ideally suited for journeys into the Highlands with Braemar to the North... More

Glenkilrie is a first-rate B&B, in an idyllic location with cozy, spotless, very comfortable rooms. The farmhouse dates back to the 1800s and is a wonderful blend of Old World charm and modern conveniences. We can't say enough about the host, who not only gave us excellent advice on where to eat but also cooked a fabulous Scottish breakfast the... More

Or, you can easily drop down the hill to lovely Strathmore and... More

We arrived to a warm welcome at this beautiful farmhouse. Within a few minutes, the fire was lit in the guests' sitting room and we settled down to tea and homemade shortbread. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed seeing the newborn lambs in the adjacent fields. Comfortable, immaculately clean rooms and a great breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

This B and B is 13 miles north of Blairgowie, but once you get there it is worth the drive. It is a lovely old farmhouse with very modern facilities. The owner is very nice and accomodating with good information and resources to help you plan. there is a nice living area just for the Band B clients. The breakfast... More
