Just a short walk (2 mins) from the seafront this Hotel is ideal if the weather is fine. The food is plain fare but there is a good choice at all meal times, The facilities and decor are a bit tired but still comfortable. Evening entertainment was adequate for an older age group, the bar and lounge reasonable for price... more

We travelled in a coach group. The staff were friendly and helpful. But the evening entertainment was not great. The hotel is in need of refurbishment but was clean. The food was ok for the money. There is a small indoor pool and jacuzzi (this costs £1 for 10 minutes). No proper changing facilities are provided. It was satisfactory for... more

COMMENT:- As one of the pre war over 70 coach travellers about whom mmunch choose to make derogatory remarks I completely disagree with their assessment of this hotel. Social snob? Whilst we were there in addition to us there was another coach party of younger people and the rest of the hotel was filled by families and smaller groups and... more

On entering the Burlington hotel you are greeted with a stale air stuffiness and an underlying smell of urine. And instantly conjures up a feeling of an old peoples home or hospital. The hotel is very dated (as you may expect from the resort) with an avocado bathroom suite without a shower but with a non slip mat to help... more

We took a seven day break with Paul James Holidays at the Burlington at the end of May which we thuroughly enjoyed due to a great holiday company and a good hotel. The staff were extremely efficient and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The bedroom whilst not large was comfortable and clean. The dining room is quite large... more

We stayed at the hotel for a twixmas break for 3 ngts. We had a really lovely relaxing time. On arrival in reception lovely big xmas tree, with choclates, nuts and sugared almonds courtesy of the hotel. The food was very good, with a good variety of choice. Rooms were cosy, not deluxe but certainly adequate for our stay, and exceptionally... more

We visited this hotel with our bowling club from hampshire. The food, service and rooms were all excellent and all of our members would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay there. The location of the hotel was just off the sea front, so therefore quiet, but still only a stones throw away from the sea- front and the pier. Every evening... more
