We stayed for in August and were unfortunately very disappointed. The caravan (which was not an economy one) was in desperate need of refurbishment. The cleaners had done a good job with what they were given but the carpet had a large stain and all of the upholstery was so shabby it looks very grubby. The rooms are extremely small... More

Came with the family, stayed in one of the caravans right at the back, the caravan was poor quality been here when I was a child has not improved or upgraded at all. The beds where uncomfortable also the linen did not fit kept coming off throughout the night. To the end of our stay young adults booked some caravans... More

I stayed in caravan 20 with the rest of my family in caravan 10 from the 25th August-1st September. It is a very friendly place to stay with lots of room and is very clean. It is also great place for children with a good playing area. I found some of the decor quite dated e.g. the TV but again... More

Just enjoyed a few days here, was a bit sceptical about staying in a caravan but would definitely do it again, it had everything you needed and was pretty spacious, we found the site very quiet and clean and also in a brilliant location as nothing is more than a 10 minute walk away,

What a lovely, well considered family site. Very clean, not too many caravans, all sensibly spaced, no cars on site, so safe for the children. Trolleys provided to ferry luggage to and fro the car park. The caravans are clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Picnic benches allowed us to watch the children play in the play area and on... More

It was my first ever time to the Isle of Wight and my first ever time in a caravan, my family have been visiting this park over a number a years and have got to know the owners well. We turned up on Monday the 14th July 2014 and stayed in caravan 5 which I believe is the disabled caravan... More

Our first impressions did not change! Site was quiet, clean and tidy! Caravans not new but well kept and equipped. Sandown beach a ten minute walk was nicest beach we visited. Will be back. Thank you!

Thank you for your lovely review, We love our little caravan park and try to keep it as clean and tidy as possible. Our caravans are older but we have just been graded and still well and truly a 3 star park. Only a few tweaks could be four star but prefer to be the best 3 star rather than... More

This was our third sun holiday and this time I fully researched parks prior to booking. Me and two female friends use these hols as an opportunity for a girlie break on a budget, using the caravan as our base but spending our days exploring. Sandown itself is a little tired and dated but money is being spent on rejuvenating... More

Love your title, There are loads of parks doing the Sun holidays including the big boys.. To be rated as your best yet put a large smile on our faces. Also glad you heard the Lions at the Zoo. As for Sandown...watch this space it may take a few years but plans are going ahead to bring it back. After... More

Just returned from a lovely stay at Fort Holiday Park. Its a lovely site, quiet and well cared for, and very friendly people. There is a nice pub next door which does great meals all made fresh, so don't panic if you seem to be waiting a bit more than most places. The site is very handy for the beach,... More

We are lucky to have a great bus service and they accept bus passes. Two busses pass the park entrance and the third is only a couple of minutes walk away. We are fairly close to the station as well if you fancy trying our wonderful roller coaster train system. More
