We stayed here as two families for a long weekend at the end of September. One group of us with 'Sun Holiday's' and the other booked an Excalibur caravan. Now having read previous reviews about the 'budget' 'sun' type caravans we were a little worried but we really needn't have! Yes the caravan (no 3) is an older style but... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We do have a variety of caravans some older (colder) budget caravans up to fully centrally heated double glazed 3 bedroom caravans. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness and 2014 will be no different. Lots of work has been done on the insides of the caravans over the winter and hopefully you... More

Well it's the end of yet another wonderful break at Fort Holiday Park my second in 2013, but ( in the words of Arnie) I'LL BE BACK IN 2014 :-) I started staying here over 9 years ago and have seen many excellent changes over the years, with vans being upgraded, a cute child's play area, Barbecue area's doted around... So happy you enjoyed another stay with us. Don't know about you but we have seen lots of crickets this year, Must have been all the hot weather we had. When I am mowing the play field they are jumping out of the way all the time. I know what you mean about listening to the waves. We may be... More

This is the second time we have stayed at this Park this year. It is near the seafront, close to Town Centre and most importantly, the staff / owners cannot do enough for you. Excellent, Thank you. We will certainly be returning next year as this was a great little caravan park, hidden away with a lovely pub next door... More

Thank you for re-visiting our park. It is so easy to spend money on advertising to get someone in once... the proof is when they return Our location is fantastic, 5 minutes walk to the beach or Sandown high street 15 minutes walk to the Zoo Thats a realistic walk too... not at an olympic walkers pace. There is even... More

Stayed here for Scooter weekend with wife and friends, stayed in basic caravan and surprised how clean and good condition it was in. One of the best weekends we have had on the rally for a number of years. Would definitely recommend this place to any Scooterist who's looking for great value and friendly staff. Thank you for your review. The Scooter weekend is the highlight of our year by far the best weekend we have ever had. The Caulkheads was partying until 2am breakfast from 08:30 it was all go all the time. But still quiet on the park to get that well earned sleep until the next day. Please get in quick for... More

Stayed at this park just outside the centre of Sandown. Great location, reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. Our special requirements for a caravan without steps was provided immediately upon request. We had forgotten to mention this when booking but the caravan was changed without question - they even helped us to settle in. I would highly recommend this site.

We found the park quite run down, like Sandown it has seen better days. The caravan we were in was small and cramped with a slight smell of mildew, although it was reasonably clean. The table outside still had an ash tray with butts in it though. My husband is quite large so the shower was a real tight squeeze.... More

We have visited this site twice now, in both 2012 and 2013. We all love the Isle of Wight. The site is very good value for money and ideally situated a few minutes walk from beach, shops, pubs. The fact that we have booked again for 2014 says it all really, need I say more. I found the owner to... More

came down from Leeds for the Scooter rally, usually we stay in the Sandringham but being four of us was going to cost over £2000 for the six nights so we opted for a budget stay. I am writing this at 0230 listening to what I can only describe as a caravan full of yobs singing, shouting & banging just across the site from where our van is located. This has been going on for a couple of hours and nothing has been done despite the 'no noise' policy. I am presuming they have spent the... More

I used to laugh at people who went to the same place every year for their holiday, but we have just come back from another brilliant stay here!
