This hotel desperately needs bringing up to date. The rooms are decorated like something from the 60's and not at all relaxing, although the beds are comfortable and the bedding clean. The corridors smell very musty. The TV in the room is a 12" although there is Sky. The breakfast is quite good but the full English does not have... More

Booked with Travelstyle Coach Holidays paying a super saver price, no choice of accommodation, allocated a few days before departure. If you aren't paying a lot, can you expect a lot? The hotel is clean and comfortable on the basic two star level. There is no lift and some guests did struggle with the stairs. We didn't notice any cause... More

Been here for four nights. Very comfortable. Entertainment was good. It is a family run hotel and they and their staff work very hard. Food was piping hot and very well presented. It was a travel style holiday. I had seen reviews but you get what you pay for and disagree with some remarks. Would go again

We have just returned from having 4 nights at the malvern. The hotel is run by a lovely Indian family who make your stay very comfortable. The place is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms of a good size. The restaurant offers a good selection of food for the evening meal which is always piping hot (except for the salads) ahem.The... More

the second visit to this isle of wight in sandown hotel was again a good experience though much better than the first as you can see the refurbishment carried out by the owners, ie.new carpets, new shower cubicles, decoration, you cannot better the quality and variety offered at each sitting, breakfast 5 or 6 choice of cereals, good quality kingsmill white and... The husband and I enjoyed a 4 night Travelstyle break at the Malvern. Check in was quick and easy. (1 key for room & 1 key for main entrance) No lift but we were told to leave baggage at the foot of the stairs if we needed it carrying up to our rooms. Our room was small with a double... More

Just returned having stayed 4 nights at the Malvern hotel. My daughter and I stayed with my 2 granddaughters 7 and 9. We had 2 rooms both were clean and roomy. On arrival keys were all ready and took 2 mins to check in. Evening meal was served 30 mins later. Soup, roast Beef, ice cream for desert. All piping... More

We stayed at The Malvern for the bank holiday weekend and were pleasantly surprised. For the price we paid this hotel had everything we needed, a little bit dated decorative wise but very clean and comfortable. Remember this is a budget hotel so don't expect 5 star! This family run hotel is very good in many respects, the family themselves... More

We stayed at this place as part of a coach trip. There is no disabled ramp at the entrance so had to be assisted in and out. This is embarrassing to say the least. Food quality bordered on average but choice was poor sort of A or B, The dining room was uncomfortably hot despite three ceiling fans. We asked... More
