Hackleton School, Northampton had another absolutely fabulous week at the Friends Hotel with Paul and Sandra. Can I thank you both tremendously on behalf of all of the children and staff. We could not have asked for better food and care. See you both again on our next residential.

Teachers and pupils from Park Lane School had a fabulous week staying with Paul and Sandra at The Friends Hotel. This was our second stay with them and we would love to come back next year as we were all made to feel so welcome and had a brilliant week. The owners went out of their way to provide an... More

Well located good food and good entertainment on an evening, the food is home done and tasty, the staff are all friendly. Located in a nice quite area, nice stroll to the sea front. You are always kept entertained on an evening,

Stayed as a family at the Friends Hotel for 4 nights as part of a coach tour package. We found the accommodation clean and comfortable. The half board meal menu was good. It was simple food eg, salads, sausage and mash, roast pork dinner, fish options etc all served nicely and plenty of it. Things are rationed out but you... More

Stayed here for one night's B&B as a result of leaving it too late to book anywhere else on a busy summer weekend. Twin room was small and dated but adequately provided with tv, shower, kettle etc. Breakfast was a pretty decent fry-up (and there were lots of other options, but I didn't try those). Main complaints would be: -... More

The food was average and there was only a choice of two starters and two mains you also had to choice you dinner just after you had eaten your breakfast and your breakfast just after eating you dinner... Our coach driver, Alan, Was very kind and got us to the easiest rout from place to place. Paul and Sandra were very welcoming too although we didn't really see them much throughout our week stay. From the outside, the hotel looked.. not so dated, but inside although again it was slightly old fashioned it was nice. The rooms were... More
