Great place, really comfortable and a good breakfast. We had three bikes as we were doing the Great North Bike Ride, Andrew let us leave these in the bar when we arrived and then put them away in his garage overnight. Our first trip to Whitley Bay to see a gig at the Trojan Rooms and we were so glad to have avoided some of the other places in the town! This place was friendly, clean and you get the feeling they really cared about what they were doing. They even offer to lend you a laptop to check your emails.... more

Had a great stay at the Oaktree Lodge, such high standards of cleanliness and a very warm welcome with excellent service. We particularily enjoyed the Coffee and hot chocolate in there lounge area, In room WiFi really good connection and fast We wil be returning on our next visit. thank you to all the staff more

Although we only stayed one night, you can tell that the Oaktree lodge represents all that is great in British B&B accomodation. The family room we had was immaculate.
