Carole was a fantastic host and couldn't do enough to help us - letting us leave our bags for the day while we had a look around. Perfect for what we wanted,... More

We couldn't find a place to stay. Untill we found Ainsley guesthouse!. We were with the 3 of us. Good beds, big television and a nice shower. We took a dive in the sea and after that we had a good breakfast. We would recommend it!

Staying over the great north run weekend, we were recommended to the Ainsley by a work colleague. What a great little place! Room was clean & tidy and Carol made us feel more than welcome for the whole stay. Arriving late on the Friday she made sure we had bread and milk to make toast and tea in the communal... More

Stayed one night, lovely, very friendly, had good chats, allowed to store my bike indoors - in the main family living room - could not have been more accommodating, pardon the pun! Very clean, fresh, and nicely decorated Highly recommended.

Immaculate clean. Little kitchen where you can cook store and eat your food with fridges. Very friendly, wifi decent. No cooked breakfast but cereal, bread for toast etc to help yourself. 10/10 cant fault the place

We had a wonderful stay at Ainsley Guest House. Cosy, clean and wonderfully friendly, Carole made us feel welcome the minute we turned up (late) and offered a lovely cup of tea. All of this plus a delicious breakfast, made for the perfect weekend visiting family. Would most definitely stay again!

If your wanting a clean, friendly and very reasonably priced bed and breakfast which is within walking distance of the local shops and pubs , this is the place.
