Having booked our accommodation from home in New Zealand, I was impressed with the swift and concise communication. On arrival, we were greeted by Stuart, and offered a much welcomed cider and an upgrade to a sea view room for our first week. A nice gesture, that as the fortnight rolled on became apparent that the hotels aim is to... More

We have just returned from a short break to the Island and consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have stayed at Silvercraigs. This was our first visit and something we've meant to do for years as my dad and grandparents lived on here in the 1940s. What a lovely place the Isle is and we were lucky to have mainly hot,... this was my first time on the isle of man. I am a contractor working on the I. o. m. I was warned by a friend who visits the island a lot, that the I. o. m. is back about 40 years behind the mainland, so I didn't expect much. I stayed at the silvercraigs for 15 nights. 11night home... More

9 of us stopped at Silvercraigs Hotel for the recent TT fortnight. We all found the Hotel was not misadvertised, it was exactly as stated on the web page, that is,not 5 star but very comfortable, excellent breakfasts, and nothing was too much trouble for the owner Stuart. We all said we go back again as location and everything else... More

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The room was big with a lovely sea view. The furnishings are a little old fashioned but there was masses of storage space, a powerful shower & lashings of hot water even at 05.00 when we had an early departure for the Dublin ferry. Stuart goes out of his way to ensure that... More

We had comfortable stay at Silvercraigs. It began with a very friendly welcome by Stuart and his sincere efforts in helping us plan our weekend at Isle of Man. We were also offered complimentary drinks. Our room, though a little compact for our liking, was well-appointed and clean with all basic amenities. If visiting during TT weeks, it is advisable...
