This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The room was very comfortable and nicely presented. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. We came during the off-peak season so the price of our stay was cheap considering the quality of the rooms. Highly recommended if you ever visit the Isle Of Man.

I arrived at the Regency hotel on a wintry Sunday evening for my two-night stay. Checkin was quiet, my room all ready, and I was quickly unpacking. The room was spacious, had a separate "study" area and a good view of the sea. The first evening I had cod and chips in the bar. At that time I was the... More

From the moment I stepped through the door I experienced a sense of hospitality and a desire to serve. Restaurant served great food and Toni who waited at the table did credit to the hotel. Complementary news paper a nice touch. Breakfast cooked to order. On the whole a place to return to.

What a fantastic place to come to! First trip to Isle of Man since childhood and I did not know what to expect. From entering the hotel (and Reception knowing who I was immediately) with a swift check in, I was relaxing no time in the lovely lounge. I had been told to say 'hello' to James in the Lounge... Stayed here one night after an event in Douglas. It's a lovely old fashioned hotel with wood paneling. Very smooth, easy check in. The lift was the most incredible contraption I've ever seen! Minuscule isn't the word! It would just about hold two people, one behind the other but no serious luggage. Then when we found our bedroom on the... More

We were treated so well at The Regency! the room was spotless, bathroom was large and beautiful. Since I am the type of person who might bring my own sheets because I am such a nervous hotel stayer, I was very comfortable here. Pretty decor matched this Victorian age hotel The staff were more than helpful regarding any of our... More

I personally haven't stayed here but.. My parents stay here every time they visit the island, telling me how amazing this hotel is with friendly staff like Tim and James doing everything they can to make their stay memorable. The Oak Paneled Restaurant has stunning views of the promenade and sea front, with food to match. From Steak to Fresh... More

Stay here every couple of months. This last visit was very enjoyable. Hotel was full so I ended up in the lodge in what was lovely spacious suite and more comfortable than the normal rooms that can be a tad hot at times. The restaurant was excellent. Great service! Excellent food (a bit on the expensive side which is fine... More

We stayed for ten nights at the hotel, decor is very traditional and my initial view was that it could be construed as a little stuffy, however I was proved wrong. Absolutely wonderful attentive service, really lovely suite room which was incredibly clean. The breakfast was not the most extensive but ok. If you are visiting the island for both leisure... More
