This is a great hotel overlooking the sea. Positives: The check in is FAST. The staff are friendly. There is a great little pub and an excellent restuarant on the premises where we had dinner. The food is delicious and the service in the restuarant is outstanding. I had a huge bedroom facing the sea on the first floor -... More

Our group arrived on Sunday and many of the nearby restaurants were closed so we decided to have dinner at the hotel and the food was outstanding. The restaurant is elegant but we ate in the bar area, by the large window looking out onto the promenade and water and near the toasty fireplace and wood panel walls and tartan... More

I love it here. I've just had an awful journey. I was welcomed by the same gentleman at the front desk who has been here for some time - that's a good sign if the owners retain their staff. With one single signature I was away to my room. He carried my bag, opened my room up for me, turned... More

A really lovely period hotel, with a first class fine dining restaurant. We came for an off season quiet break, and the hotel more than lived up to expectations. We booked a standard double room, and were upgraded after our first night to a business class room, without any prompting from us. A really nice gesture. Staff were really friendly... More

I stayed at the Regency Hotel in Douglas for three nights on a business trip. This hotel is an upper end historic hotel. It is located at the far north end of the Douglas Harbor strip. It would be quite a walk to get to the area around the sea terminal. There is no parking at the hotel so you... More

We stayed at the Regency for 1 week while attending the Classic TT. The room was beautifully clean & well appointed with great views across the bay. One of the many positives of staying at the hotel though is the staff. Obviously trained to a high standard they were always kind, courteous and friendly, always ready to please. Evenings in... Stayed in a few hotels whilst in IoM (Sefton & Hilton/Best Western). This is by far the best in all areas. Based at far end of prom away from hustle of town. Complimentary service is available if you require transport into town. Beautiful seafront location Staff are extremely professional/courteous and are trained to a level to ensure customers enjoy a... I have stayed now in most hotels in Douglas. However this was my first time here and I was happy with the levels of service throughout the hotel. The lift I must say is an amazing experience and one to look forward too. I opted for the Business Suite - which suited my needs - wardrobe space however is limited... More

At first glance the hotel looks tired and dated but that hides the great service you get. It's on the edge of walking distance from town especially if the weather isn't great but once inside its clean warm and welcoming and the food is as good as anywhere on the island.

There was a group of ten of us for a meal. The tables was well orgaised for the group. The staff were very helpful and funny. Although the restaurant was busy the service was efficient and no sthere were no delays. The choice was good and I would recommend the lamb. There was also a good chice of starters. Sadly... More
