On arrival you are faced with some VERY steep steps so it's not really suitable for infirm people. There is no disabled access. The rooms are very comfortable and the corridors have quite a lot of steps as well. The lift only holds 3 people at , a time. The ground floor dining room hides some of the tables behind... More

We stayed here for four nights (half-board) on a coach tour. Other coach parties were staying at the same time. The staff coped very well, especially when the fire alarm went off - which was reassuring..! (It was a false alarm). The food was good and plentiful, both breakfast and dinner being a self-service buffet. The hotel position right on... More

We were only able to go to the Isle of Man for 24 hrs during the TT and luckily found this hotel had one night available. It is right on the Promenade, short walk to the TT Grandstands and paddock area, which is the reason I picked it. About a 20 minute walk to the more lively part of Douglas.... More

We stayed at the Rutland this past weekend for the TT and other than a slight issue out of their control, we had an excellent stay! Unfortunately the rude couple in the room next door were smoking and despite being asked several times by the manager simply carried on. The staff were great, extremely apologetic and moved us to a... More

Better than expected! The room was a nice size nd the staff were friendly. It's in a quiet area of town, so we got a good night's sleep. Pricy, but it was TT week, so to be expected. Would certainly return.

Bit further out of town but on the promenade front nearer to the electric railway terminal. About 15 mins walk along the front to the main strip. Ok room. Functional, we had 410 on the top floor which was quiet, amazing during TT practise. It was really warm. Staff were friendly, breakfast was average, self service bacon eggs etc. only... More
