6 members of the family stayed at this hotel 2 double rooms and 2 single rooms, Found the rooms very good. Staff polite and very helpful. We only had breakfast but it was 1st class and plenty of it. Was offered more if we wanted. Price was very reasonable. Will stay again at this hotel

Recent stay at the Hydro for 5 days found hotel slightly dated but service, food and entertainment good, would stay again. also Peel, Port Erin, Castletown all worth a day out, Some areas such as the Needles and the Laxey Wheel visits tend to be a bit on the pricey side for food but I think its expected for you... This hotel was ok, but really needed updating. The bedrooms were very old fashioned and the beds quite uncomfortable. We didn't eat in the restaurant although the menu looked fine, the room needed some TLC. The breakfast was good and there was a menu to choose from. The hotel staff were friendly too.

The Hydro Hotel is on the sea front near to the main shopping area, travel by horse tram is novel and easy. The hotel could do with a visit from a window cleaner and decorator. The room was clean with a nice sea view, the food was quite good and the staff were polite and helpful.
