Rooms good size, massive bathroom, very clean and tidy. The position of the hotel is excellent for doing business in Douglas, everything within walking distance. The down side is the closing time of the bar in the evening which is not very good as way too early. Have stayed here about 5 or 6 times and always go back

In 25+ years of extensive business travel this has been the single worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked a 2-night stay from 31st March – 2nd April. On the morning of 1st April there was no hot water in the room. I called reception at around 0800 to report the problem and was told that “the manager... More

The hotel is very easy to spot on the seafront. In easy walking distance from the ferry port. Car parking is a bit of a work-up. While it is free overnight and Sundays, to park on the street outside the hotel, it is limited to two hours during the day when displaying a timed disc available from the hotel. However,... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stunning room with fantastic views over the beaches and harbour. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Really can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Great base to explore Douglas and the island from

We had a short break at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in room 401 which was a large room with a four poster bed. Being a corner room, there was a small raised area in the corner which gave us views out over the sea and back to the port area. Wonderful place to sit and have... More

I was told in reply to my last review, that I was not a "seasoned traveller" as I had only ever written 1 review. The person who responded was in fact the manager of the hotel which I had reviewed. I was told that I only saw the bad and not the good things in his/her hotel. I will not... More

I have just stayed at this hotel with my two young sons. I booked a family room for what I considered to be a very reasonable price considering it also included breakfast for three (separately this breakfast is expensive). I was aware that most of the Douglas seafront hotels ( and there are tons) are more of what I would... More

Happy to praise this hotel in this review . We had an " executive" sea facing room . Well worth the extra money . Huge room and great view over the prom and out across Douglas bay . Breakfast was excellent , a little time to wait but so much better than dried up food off a buffet style breakfast... More

My husband and I have just got back from a weekend on the island and stayed here. We were staying in a suite which had a huge four poster bed with plenty of pillows and a real quilt with a huge television and bathroom. The view from this room was breathtaking and wonderful to watch the sun come up over... More

Visited the island twice on shirt notice and we stayed at The Admiral House each visit. Wasn't disappointed in staff, rooms, wifi or breakfast. Excellent price and excellent all round service. Each visit we were upgraded to higher spec rooms as a bonus. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
