The Rooms are a decent size, all very... More

Stayed at the hotel for a short break. We were in a family room which had 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds. Room was a bit on the small side but beds were comfortable. Our room was at the back so unfortunately our view was of the yard. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Ideal location in the centre... More

This hotel is exactly as we expected from the advertising. We needed a room for one adult and two teenagers, and were given a decent-sized room containing a double, a single AND bunks, so we had some choice/extra space. Lots of hot water. Friendly staff.

We stayed here for one night. This is a Victorian terrace overlooking the promenade at Douglas. The place is quite old fashioned with large rooms partitioned off to make smaller bedrooms. Our bedroom was therefore small and was overlooking the sea. We were concerned that there was no safety catch on the window which would have been dangerous for children.... More

Stayed here for two nights, staff friendly rooms clean and adequate. Does need some repair work here and there but overall a pleasant place to stay. One thing to consider is that if you have a back room there is some noise from some machinery in the back yard but not so bad if window closed.

The Caledonia Hotel has an excellent location on the Queens Promenade and we booked a sea view room overlooking the bay. The staff a considerate and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was excellent (if a little dated but that is in the nature of the Victorian? building)) very clean and comfortable. Toiletries are provided... More
