Booking and check-in were both simple and friendly thanks to Tony at Reception. I paid £440 which apparently included one night free for a four night stay in an 'Atrium' type room including breakfast during the Easter Bank-holiday weekend. We were advised at the point of booking that the pool was closed for refurbishment. On arrival at the hotel we... more

This is truly one of the Isle of Man's best hotels. I have stayed here on a number of occassions, and whilst I have tried others, I always come back to the Sefton. From the moment you arrive you realise you are walking in to a nice (non corporate) hotel. If you get the grumpy receptionist, don't let it put... more

The room was booked for one night as a present. Only cost £50.00 Bed and breakfast for 2 people, really good value. Got there as said car park underneath was a good add on if not then behind the hotel there is some parking. Check in was really easy and finding the room was fun we did get lost! Eventually... more

We stayed in a sunny, sea view room at the Sefton Hotel. The room was warm and comfortable and we could look out to sea both from the bed and from the sitting area. There was a large ensuite bathroom. Sir Norman's Bar served good bar meals and the Gallery Restaurant was excellent though more expensive. We could not use... more

We stayed at the Sefton for 2 nights from the 10th October for a family get-together. We have stayed at B&B's in Douglas before at around £70 so at just under £100 per night The Sefton with all its amenities make the choice of stay for future visits very easy! Our room (321) which was on the third floor gave... more

Beautiful large modern bedroom with a good-size balcony overlooking the hotel's atrium with fountain and fish pond. Breakfast was very good but some of the serving staff aren't up to scratch. The hotel has a secure car park (unusual for Douglas) and a swimming pool; however the pool has a rather odd-shaped profile and is more for lazing in than... more

We booked after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. This is a really good hotel. Reception were polite and efficient. The room was superb - spacious, very clean and, like most rooms in the hotel with an inward looking balcony over the internal atrium. The internal Atrium is a great feature (although used for lots of receptions... more

I have just returned from the Sefton Hotel after staying for 6 days with my parents. We occupied room 209 which had a four poster bed and room 212 which was a double room. Both rooms had a seperate lounge area on a raised laminated floor, wonderful sea views and massive bathrooms with seperate showers. The rooms were bright and... more

We stayed at the Sefton for an extended weekend trip we had booked one room but required two on arrival as we picked up my Mother as a traveler along the way. The Taxi driver from the airport asked where we were staying and indicated what a "posh hotel" we were staying in, Im not sure where he came up... more
