I have stayed regularly at the Hilton now back to the Palace for business over several years. The only place to eat excellent food in the evenings has been the Atlantis restaurant which was in the casino and did superb flambé and other food. I last stayed in October 2011 and ate every evening in the Atlantis. Both my e-mail... More

We stayed in the Palace Hotel whilst visiting friends / family in Douglas. I can only say that the hotel was first class, I totally agree with another person that the extra money for a sea view is worth every penny. It was quite a long walk to our room, thats the design of the hotel... what do you expect!!... More

We stayed in this hotel over the ‘Halloween Weekend – 28th – 30th Oct 2011) with some friends. The hotel is on the sea front with an option of either ‘See view room or non – the difference was only £5, and it’s worth the extra pennies). The rooms are slightly dated (I would say the late 90’s), but don’t... More

I stayed at the hotel because our company Christmas party was being held there and it made more sense to stay at the hotel than try an get home. I was very pleasantly surprised. I'd never stayed at The Palace before and I had not heard got things about it, but it was on the whole very nice. The room... More

The hotel was larger than we usually go to. However, the bedrooms were comfortable but we had no sea view from the room. The dining area was segregated from the main one and was a tad on the cold side. We had to ask for the heating to be put on, as the weather was not exactly hot for June.... More

Thank you very much for your comments regarding the hotel during your stay with the tour in June. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay on the island, and the food at the Palace, but apologise for the steps en-route to the dining area. There is an alternative route (which is a lengthier walk), but the room is fully... More

our family took 2 rooms, one was dearer, it's view of Douglas seafront was worth the extra cost, it was also larger. The star feature of this hotel is the indoor pool, and the adjacent lounge area, if only the cost of getting to the IOM was less we would come to the Palace more often, but there are criticisms... Went as a group of 9 for a stag do. RJ's taxis picked us up (they also took us to the go kart track in Jerby, back via a 2 hour pub stop in Ramsey and back to the airport for 20 a head, including the karaoke minibus!!) and it was around 15 minutes from the airport to the Palace.... More

We booked 2 twin rooms - got room 430 (fine room - no fridge though) and 432. Room 432 is part of the new extension according to the duty manager. Although the wardrobe is narrower than the 4 coat hangers supplied and also contains an ironing board (which had to sit in front of the window so that I could... More

Hotel is situated at far end of prom, 20 minutes walk from town. Interior is tired. Rear facing rooms are subject to noise of fans all night. I demanded to be moved from the broom cupboard room and was sent down to Sefton Hotel which is much smarter. More
