We stayed 3 nights in April at the Ellan Vannin. It is a nice B&B very well located, close to the ferry terminal and very close to one bus stop and not far from the bus terminal and railwaystation. Of course, as usual, central location can mean some amount of noise and this is was the case here. It wasn't... More

Very good room with a wonderfull view to the sea (room 14). Fantastic breakfast (quantity and quality). Very good located. Five minutes of walk to the bus station and 2 minutes to que comercial area. I stayed for 6 nights, so at the end I felt like in my house. Thanks to the owners and the staff.

A little gem. Stayed for one night over Easter weekend 2014 and would highly recommend. Room was immaculate with lots of attention to detail - alarm clock, reading lights etc. We were fortunate to have a room with a stunning sea view; worth asking for. Staff were helpful and kind. Daughter enjoyed the free wi-fi. Would definitely return- we would... More

This is not the ritz, but for what it is it is excellent. Nice rooms, recently refurbished I believe. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Usual continental plus something hot from the kitchen. Was very good actually. Rooms were small but good quality. Free wifi was great. Sitting room for all was nice too. Would visit again and price was competitive.

We enjoyed excellent breakfasts and the wonderul view of Douglas Bay. Our room was spacious and well-appointed with a table, four chairs and a sofa. Also the large television was ideal for watching the Masters golf etc. The hotel is conveniently located for the town centre, buses and steam train. The wide promenade is ideal for walking and enjoying the... More

Having decided on the Ellan Vannin for our stay in the Isle of Man, we were certainly not disappointed. The rooms were fabulous with views to die for. The breakfasts filled us for the rest of the day and the staff could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be recommending this one!

Our double room was lovely and well appointed with lots of nice touches. The shower ensuite was great. Breakfasts were very tasty, providing excellent choice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn't have asked for more.

Very cramped 'twin' room with en suite shower room (described as bathroom on booking form), only one case-rack (no space for a second) and only one bedside light, though this was later rectified. Everything else was excellent, but difficult to overlook the tiny room.

Went to iom for a family occasion and stayed at Ellan Vannin for 2 nights, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Excellent seafront location close to all amenities. They put on a reception for a christening which was excellent. The food and attention to detail was marvellous. We definitely recommend this hotel and have already booked our next visit.
