We were worried about some of the reviews that appeared here after we had booked but were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by Helena who was wonderful, helpful and smiling and allowed us to check in very early. The rooms are quite small and ours was on the side of the building so we didn't get a sew view but... More

Stayed here in room 10 with sea view, we were openminded about this place after reading some of the negative reviews, met by the cheerful owner, and invited to check the room before we paid. Room was clean and as expected room 10 has a double bed and a single bed, was not at all cramped although the shower room... More

I couldn't get the full 10 days at the Palace hotel so stayed here for 3 nights It was so cheap I was worried it would a bit of a dive but I was happily mistaken You get what you pay for and this budget hotel was great value for money I had a single room with a balcony and... More

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!! The place smells damp and looks old...grimp in fact. It is horrible to walk through the tiny corridors that not even a wheelchair could fit through. No hand-railings to aid you. Shot glasses on a morning for drinks and cold breakfast if you can get it as they only serve for 30 minutes and then you will... More

On arrival we were put into room 1 which was dark freezing cold and smelled of smoke. When we asked to be moved we were told that it had been approved by the Tourist Board and the hotel was busy which it wasn't. My husband then complained again and we were put into room 11 which was slightly better but... More

Stayed with my son in a small twin room. Out on the bikes all day every day so just needed a place to crash after the pub. Room was clean, beds were comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was small but ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was full of bikers, all good fun. Overall... More

Stayed for 3 nights in a standard twin room with no en-suite. Elderly parents - mother disabled with a walker - had a twin en-suite room. Both sea views. Initial impression very positive: we were allowed to check in early (4 pm is earliest check in time)offered a choice of rooms to suit parents better and rooms were light, airy,... More

Stayed at the Trevelyan During Southern 100 week in a triple room 3rd floor with two mates. Room was clean & tidy two singles & a double. Basic but ok for 3 men. The breakfast was ok and service was prompt. No complaints. If I have a complaint the en-suite was small the shower worked but could have been better... More

With cheap flights introduced from Bristol airport we took the opportunity to visit the Isle of Mann fro 4 nights. The Trevelyan Hotel offers great value for money. For £62 per night bed and breakfast we had a sea view triple room which was spacious with lovely big windows. The double bed was comfortable as was the single! To our... More
