Although I hesitate to write a negative review, I think it is important to advise people to ask many questions when you book your room at the Edelweiss. We booked our reservation several months in advance. I discussed our special retirement trip with Shirley by email and by phone, and I emphasized how special the trip was to us, and... More

I commute frequently to Isle of Man due to my job, and chose Edelweiss as my 'home' for the duration of my time on the island. I would like to thank both Shirley and Alex for making my stay so comfortable and memorable. The accommodation, the breakfast, the location and most importantly the reception and kindness shown by the owners... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid-October while we visited the IOM on our way to England. It's a cozy little inn, very quiet with friendly service. Rooms are a good size and while we weren't in one of them, you can see the waterfront from the front rooms. It wasn't a big concern since we weren't in the... More

Warm room, hot powerful shower, clean comfortable bed, free wifi and use of desktop PC, great breakfast, good location, friendly proprietor and fantastic value for money. Ideal. All I need now are several rooms for the 2016 TT

We checked in very late due to the late arrival of our ferry. No matter, they were still able to check us in. The hotel has bicycle storage which is great. The room was clean and done to a high standard. We both enjoyed our nights sleep. It was a lovely hotel. We checked out very early the next morning.... More

On account of reviews of this hotel here I booked an overnight stay for my very first visit to the Isle of Man and I wasn't disappointed. On arrival I was greeted with a friendly welcome despite it being fairly late in the evening. The formalities completed I found the room to be very clean and everything you wanted was... More

First the good points, Sea view room on 4th floor was clean, bed linen very good, bathroom large and good quality. Sleep quality was excellent due to double glazing, open the window to hear the sea.The lounge is beautiful, location is ok if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the town, very good for the electric railway,... Just returned from 9 nights, and its good to be able to say that i had 9 nights sleep. Its just far enough off the main road to be lovely and quiet, even withe a sea view room. The room was not the biggest but it was spotless. The linen was always fresh and clean. The bathroom is small but... More
