Just returned from 9 nights, and its good to be able to say that i had 9 nights sleep. Its just far enough off the main road to be lovely and quiet, even withe a sea view room. The room was not the biggest but it was spotless. The linen was always fresh and clean. The bathroom is small but... More

Good breakfast, cereals, grapefruit, cooked, fruit and pastries. I like buffet style as it is quicker and you can have as much or as little as you want. Shower water pressure good, bathroom floor didnt get flooded. Wifi in room good (with iPad just press Safari, don't use Settings). Staff friendly and efficient. Only downside it is a long way... The Edelweiss is an average B&B. The rooms are cramped, the stairs are steep and the lift is tiny. I cannot understand why people rave about the breakfasts, which are of acceptable quality - but again in cramped accommodation. The people who run the place are attentive and pleasant. The hotel's location is good for the electric and horse trams,... More

Just returned from 5 nights here. Nice quiet room 220 on the 4th floor with seaview. Very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the duvet which was too hot for the summer. Good, help yourself, breakfast which made a nice change. Nice packed breakfast for an early morning sail. Would go again.

From arrival to departure nothing was too much trouble. Everything seems to be done with little effort and everything needed to be done is done with minimum of fuss. The breakfast is a great start to the day and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. We had no occasion to bring anything to their attention. Very pleased indeed with our... More

The Edelweiss is a three star B&B and it's nothing flash. However, it is clean, comfortable and very well managed. The owners and staff are all really helpful, kind and obliging. We stayed here for five nights and had a lovely time. We had an ocean view room and it was very pleasant. The room was not spacious, but it... More

Accomodation parking in Douglas is in short supply! The Edelweiss is convenient for parking. It has a road in front, which extends up the hill. Parking is easy and free! TOP TIP: If at the end of this review you decide to travel to the Edelweiss by car, ignore their address or you wont find it. It's actually in Switzerland Road,... More

I chose this small hotel on the strength of good reports on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Stayed here with two ex colleagues in three single rooms and all were reported to be comfortable, clean and well decorated. Breakfast choices were extensive and well presented and the owners were very friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in... More
