We stayed for 3 nights in June 2015. While not a modern hotel, the bedroom was refurbished and the slightly quirky nature of the building a relief from "plastic hotels". The family who run the hotel and their staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant. We ate in the hotel each evening and although we chose our meal in the morning... More

This 1870's hotel is exactly what we wanted for our stay. A good experience.Old fashioned, attention to detail and we felt very looked after. Yes, as others have said it could do with a tad of updating, but the charm is still there and a credit to the owners that it has a lovely homely feel as well as being... More

We have just had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. To be honest, in places the hotel is a bit shabby, however, the friendly atmosphere, wonderful views of the gardens and sea, comfortable and very clean rooms and facilities more than make up for it. The owners could not do enough to make our stay a very pleasant experience and... More

When booking the hotel on booking.com it seemed to be an attractive site, rated with 4 stars. When we arrived at the hotel we discovered that the hotel has seen its best times probably 50 years ago. The one female "one woman show" - she did almost everything, but no one else was really visible - was very kind and... More

We arrived on the Isle if Delight for a friends wedding and found the hotel to be in the most amazing location looking out to sea. The staff and owner worked exceptionally hard to make the day magical! A lovely experience!

We stayed one night at the ventnor Towers which cost us £115 for 3 of us (1child) this includes breakfast, which I think is fair enough if the hotel had been decorated in the last 40 years! The location is superb which is a big plus.A very nice and helpful lady welcomed us and showed us up to our room. The poor... We chanced upon the hotel when our self-catering AirBnB accommodation along the road proved a disaster. The room with double bed and double bunk worked perfectly for our family. The sea views and south facing aspect mean this hotel is in a perfect position and together with vast grounds, tennis courts and brand new swimming pool is ideal for families.... More

We came here for a friend's gay wedding and stayed for two nights. Although it is a tad dated in parts of the hotel it was clean and the staff were very accommodating. The food was the highlight of our stay with great full English breakfasts, afternoon tea (with homemade scones) along with a lovely three course wedding meal. If... More

Step back into the 1960's, very nostalgic but not what's required in a hotel. The building is in dire need of refurbishment, the management need to wake up and realise it's the 21st century and modernise the facilities. The rooms are small, the beds are small, the decor is ancient and devoid of luxury. No wifi in the rooms and... More

I would first like to say that the staff were friendly and the food was lovely, they're about the only good things about this hotel. My partner and i booked it as a Murder Mystery & Christmas Meal. As i'm disabled we had requested a ground floor room. We had also requested a room with twin beds,we're both slightly chunky and... More
