We spent our midweek break at the Burlington Hotel, Ventnor, in late June our second in the last three years. Once again the welcome was warm, the room spacious, clean and comfortable with an impressive view over Ventnor. The food as always was excellent as was the service. Pleasant evenings were spent in the bar with other guests and the... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night in June 2012 - we just turned up and asked for a room. This is a very comfortable hotel, clean and spacious. The owner and the staff are very friendly & the food very good. Excellent value for money.

We were stayed with a college cricket team on tour, for the fourth year in a row. The hotel does a great job for us, at a very low price, providing a comfortable experience. The breakfast is good quality and plentiful, served by pleasant and friendly staff. The accomodation is spacious, which is so rare in modern hotels these days.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, B and B only, over the first May Bank Holiday weekend, on cricket tour with 8 mates. I must say I find some of the reviews a tad harsh. Found the hotel lobby clean, the bedrooms a good size and the beds comfortable. The shower worked perfectly, plenty of hot water controlled by a modern... More

I was dreading staying at this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Adviser, but I was pleasantly surprised. This Hotel is situated in a good location on the cliffs of Ventnor, a good work out on calve muscles up and down to the shore which only takes about 10-15 mins. It has great views from the balcony rooms. The hotel... More

Neglect is the word that springs to mind from the weeds growing in the gravel and the filthy canopy over the front door with 30 odd cigarette butts in a dish of sand to one side and the rubbish by the front door which after a couple of days was picked up by me and handed to the owner. His... More

Having just spent a few days at The Burlington Ventnor IOW i must warn people that this is not the place to go if you have any problems with dust. No joke, our room was filthy. Bathroom had black mould all over shower end, shower head was full of limescale so much so, that it sprayed more onto wall/curtain than... More

Wonderful seaview location with very friendly and helpful staff. Traditional english food both for breakfast and evening meal and lots of it. Very well cooked and presented. Wish the weather had been good enough to enjoy the gardens and pool which looked delicious.
