we have just had a short break at St Brelades and the service and welcome was excellent, we were treated as part of the family not just as guests. i would recommend this hotel to family and friends and hope to have another visit soon. no complaints whatsoever.

Unfortunately our stay was very depressing. We arrived at the Hotel after 3 hour long journey and since our room was not ready as yet - we couldn't immediately move in. My wife wanted to use the rest room - but the owner said that there was no facility, so we must go out and find a public toiler. We... More

Firstly, I am disappointed and puzzled that your member had a 'very depressing' experience with us. There is absolutely no notes of any incidents or reports pertaining to your member's stay. We do have a record of the booking - could there be confusion with another property? It is difficult to comprehend why any person visiting the St Brelades would... More

I've just returned from seven nights at St Brelades and have only praise for the welcome and service. My room was comfortable, the shower functioned well and I enjoyed a great breakfast every day. There was a problem with the advertised wifi but that probably meant I had more of a holiday than if I had stayed glued to my... More

The moment we entered the hotel, we wanted to go back, because we found our room small and depressing. It had a tiny window with no natural light coming in. Next morning we complained to the owner and after a bitter argument he agreed to return our money back for rest of our days. We went and stayed in a... More

We stayed at this 15 bedroom hotel for one night and in this occassion we enjoyed very much the stay. First of all for those who wish to be close to the beach, they cannot get better only literally one minute walk. The beach is very nice and reminded us of our country - Italy. Secondly, the owners Donald and... More

I agree with what many people have said in their reviews that the staff are friendly but this does not excuse some of the faults we found. The shower in our room was broken - every time you moved it the entire shower head and support would come off the wall. This was compunded by the fact that it would... More

We pride ourselves on our guests enjoying their stay with us at our hotel and we were astonished to find that this member’s experience was not enjoyable. We must apologise for the ‘faults’ that were encountered. We always welcome constructive feedback from all our customers and the first we knew about this was from the comments left through tripadvisor, and... More

I have stayed at this Hotel twice now and also recommeded it to friends. It is a family run hotel in a great location which I have found friendly and warm. The rooms are comfortable and the Hobbs family will go that extra mile to cator for their guests needs. We enjoyed our stay and found St Brelades an excellent... More

This is a really friendly, family run hotel where you actually feel like a guest of the Hobbs family, rather than just paying customers. It's quite small but cosy with very good facilities, the rooms are comfortable with all the amenities you would expect and I observed the proprietors providing things like extra pillows etc when asked by other guests....
