Very welcoming , spotlessly clean, comfortable, easy access to town, chine, beach, buses. I had a single en suite room with kettle, TV, everything I needed. Breakfast is extensive with freshly cut fruit, range of cereals, every combination of full English breakfast you can imagine, all cooked on an aga so not greasy and cooked the way I asked for... This guest house sets the standard for others to follow. We feel sorry for the others!! Peter and Carol do a superb job, they are so welcoming, friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are lovely, so clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. The beds are really very comfortable. The location couldn't... More

My girlfriend and I both from Australia stayed there for 3 nights very disappointed, the breakfast could only be taken between 0830 & 0900 and obviously most of the meal had been pre cooked, the bacon and sausage were awful, no cafeteria coffee, too expensive was the response. First day I had tea, yuk, so weak, second day decided to... More

Peter and Carol are so far the best host and hostess my husband and I have met for the longest while. We had all that could be expected from a B&B, the vegetarian option was fantastic, the room was exquisitely put together, very very clean and comfortable. The only downside beyond the control of the host was the very loud... More

We had another enjoyable stay at this first class guest house. Peter & Carol are the most welcoming and friendly hosts you could wish to meet.. The accommodation is first class and the breakfasts are excellent. The location is most convenient for the shops, restaurants and the seafront. We would highly recommend a stay here.

I booked 5 nights at the Grange Bank House on the strength of the review on this site, and the reasonable rates. I was so glad I did. Located in a quiet road in the old village, there is an excellent range of restaurants, shops and pubs very nearby. The train station is approx 10-15 minutes walk, with regular buses... More

We stayed for 4 nights in May at this lovely B&B booked via Red Funnel ferries. It is ideally situated in Shanklin old village and there are numerous great restaurants to choose from which are in easy walking distance. Peter and Carol made us very welcome and started us off every morning with a fantastic cooked breakfast. This B&B is... More

We stayed for four nights at the end of May. This was probably about the third time we had stayed there. The B and B has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The room was a good size with a lovely en-suite. It is spotlessly clean everywhere. Highlight of the day is always breakfast. It's always nice to see a cooked vegetarian... More

Just back from 4 nights at the Grange Bank, where I have stayed before. The first thing you notice is the freshly painted exterior and well maintained front garden. The warm welcome is the same as ever, as they remembered me from my previous visits. The single room I had was so bright & scrupulously clean, and fresh white towels... More

We booked this via the ferry company and had a fabulous 3 night stay over the Easter weekend. What a great place. Superb and friendly service from Peter and Carol. Superb breakfast and lovely and comfortable room. Couldn't have asked for any better place to stay.
