We brought a group of 23 for 3 nights. The staff could not have been more attentive to our needs, including those of a person using a wheelchair. Not knowing IOW, we asked many questions and received first rate tips and responses. The rooms were clean and neat and of a good size, except for the one single which was... More

I booked my daughter in for a night as she came down to see us whilst we were on holiday and my dad had stayed there the same week. This hotel is in a great location on the clifftop and even better was the price. The single room was lovely and clean but lacked the tv remote which wasn't an... More

Very friendly small hotel overlooking sea. Staff helpful and accommodating. Great buffet breakfast. Evening meals are available and exceptionally good, but not advertised (shame) and have to be booked a.m. Rooms on the smalll side but comfortable and clean. Could do with bigger TV, not a problem in good weather, but it rained every day we were there....All in all... More

We were looking for an overnight stop with a reasonable price tag (as only the minimum time would be spent there) and one that is doggy friendly. We found parking just outside the hotel, an efficient check in, nice room, clean shower (that my wife thought was a little small but OK) and a great full English Breakfast. We had... More

Sitting on top of the cliff at Shanklin, if a roof over your head and breakfast is all you need then this place is just fine. Pleasant staff, a clean room and a good buffet plus hot breakfast selection make it a good "one night" stay option. The main street with a selection of restaurants is a 10 to 15... More

We actually had our honeymoon at Harrow Lodge many years ago and thought we'd go back for a drink and maybe a bite to eat for "old times sake" . Oh dear. This used to be such a nice place, old fashioned certainly but with high standards. Having looked for a menu amongst the boxes of dirty cutlery on the... More

Just back from 2 night stay. Although double room booked, when we first arrived it was made up as a twin. After speaking to owner the beds were remade. Excellent service. Shower room very small and at times was difficult to use due to lack of space. T.v useless as couldnt see the screen? Deffo should be reposioned on another... More

2 single guys here in a twin room, which had a balcony which was very welcomed in the warm weather, the room was a good size, very clean and good quality furniture and bedding, room changed while we were there , all the staff we met were really freindly , and as the food was so nice we ate there... My wife and I visited the island and stayed at the nearby Shanklin Hotel (See my member's very poor review). Disillusioned by the food quality at the hotel (which we had paid for as part of our stay) we ventured out to seek better quality food on the last evening of our stay. I wish we had made this decision... More
