Didn't stay here, but food was excellent for the price. Great views of the sea, friendly service, if a little leisurely. Good variety on menu of family favourites. Well worth it for a light snack lunch, unpretentious fresh food. Ideally placed for trip to beech

Having found the Harrow Lodge a couple of years ago when on the Island and eating there several times in the evenings we decided to stay for a week b&b at the hotel and we were not disappointed. Our family room was large and spotlessly clean, the breakfast served every day was lovely with a wide choice of foods. Evening... More

Stayed here for a weekend with our two girls. Our first break away. Won't be staying in this hotel again. Comfortable beds. Close to beach and town. Dinner was average. Told breakfast was at 7am, thought perfect in case girls get up early, went along at 7:45 to be rudely told it's not open till 8am so we won't be... More

We stayed just one night at the Harrow Lodge in an upstairs back twin room. The room was small, but clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated with all we needed. All the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. We ate in the downstairs bar in the evening and chose home cooked fish and chips and home cooked chicken and... More

Having just stopped here for two nights I found the staff to be extremely helpful. The rooms very clean all be it a little dated. The breakfast was amazing value I couldn't have asked for anything else. Highly recommended to all and look forward to a return visit

Just back from a week at the Harrow Lodge Hotel. Very friendly helpful staff nothing too much trouble, lovely breakfasts and Evening meals available. Located in a great spot for views, walking and local to Town centre. Well worth a visit , we would love a return visit if possible in the future.

We where staying in self catering accommodation so on our final morning we wanted to eat breakfast out. The afternoon before we had a few drinks sat outside and saw a sign for breakfast so I enquired and was told they served from 8:00, perfect. We all made our choices and were served pretty quickly all plates were emptied and... More

First of all the good bits: Great location just a short stroll to the beach or to the main shopping area. Lovely staff and very accommodating who will do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Now the no so good bits: There is a lot of confusion when booking rooms via an agents website. You are fooled... More

My elderly and disabled mother and I had a very enjoyable six night holiday in late May; our first time staying in Shanklin. Booking based on Tripadvisor reviews, and didn't disappoint. From the first phone contact with wonderful manager Gina it was clear how well-run and welcoming our visit would be. Despite not being formally kitted out for disability-usage, Gina... More
