My wife and I visited the island and stayed at the nearby Shanklin Hotel (See my member's very poor review). Disillusioned by the food quality at the hotel (which we had paid for as part of our stay) we ventured out to seek better quality food on the last evening of our stay. I wish we had made this decision... More

Visited here today and was incredibly disappointing. Despite it's enticing advertising outside the hotel, we found it very unwelcoming. We were visiting as non residents (advertising clearly states "non residents welcome". We sat outside for some time waiting for someone to appear to take our order. A woman came out, collected glasses from tables around us but completely ignored us.... More

Tried everything for breakfast except for the beans, sorry after I left university I promised myself one thing, no more white beans. Room is good taken the price in consideration, clean. Just returned from a lovely holiday. The stay at this hotel was very relaxing. We had the family room (4 adults &1 child) and surprisingly we didn't feel too cramped & all amenities in room to suffice. All staff were very friendly & accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Everything available from breakfast to packed lunches to evening or... More

Ideal quiet cliff top location for the beach and town, lift to the beach only a few yards away.A sun terrace outside the bar overlooking the bay a lovely place to sit as the sun goes down having a pre-dinner drink. All the staff... More
