I wanted to stay in Shanklin so I chose this B & B as the reviews were excellent and they also took dogs. Mary, Kim and Cam were very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and tidy, there was choice of breakfast each morning, including homemade jam! We would stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights last week in room 4,biggest bed I've ever slept in. Was made to feel welcome as soon as the front door opened. Very clean & spacious room. Complimentary tea, coffee, chocolate drinks & biscuits replenished every day. Very generous & well cooked breakfast & most extensive menu I've seen in a B&B. Looking forward to going back next year... We stayed for 2 nights in August. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. We were shown our rooms which were clean and tidy with a small but clean en-suite. We arrived at breakfast the next morning and were welcomed with a smile, the breakfast was cooked to order and there was a lot to choose from. I had... More

The host was very friendly when we arrived, but the moment I stepped into the doorway, there was a musty smell! Our double room consisted of two mattresses pushed together, the valence sheet had a hole in it. The pillows were flat! No crisp white sheets here. The towels were grey and brittle. The ensuite consisted of an area within... More

We stayed at Heatherleigh 2-5 Sept, and we had the most amazing stay with the last of the hottest summer days!! We received a very warm welcome by Kim and later met her Mum Mary. Both experienced hoteliers and they ensure your stay is a home from home experience. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Very quite location so... More

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed at for B&B. The owners are just so friendly and helpful. The room is always spotless (yes, we are regulars here I am pleased to say). Breakfasts are really appetising, with a range of nice things to choose from, and you just feel so at home here.... More

This has to be one of the best guest houses I have stayed in. It's the perfect place for a weekend with friends, and an ideal base to explore the island. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Mary and Kim gave us information about events and places to visit whilst we enjoyed a leisurely full English breakfast. This was... More
