the hotel is very tired and needs major overall all the carpets and decorations in poor state. Been 6 managers over last three months and current one very rude. Food only average and basic breakfast. Staff seem ok and this is a typical B&B in a seaside town but could be so much better with little effort

We booked a ground floor room as I have a mobility problems. We were given a room on the 2nd floor The Hotel blamed Late Room. com !! The lift only went to the First floor so the only way I could get to the room was to crawl like a crab up the stairs. The room itself was clean and... More

Wouldn't of even gave it 1 mark if I could!!!the staff from Birmingham are awful, rude and obnoxious, I stayed here for 3 weeks while I was working on the island, The first room I was in I woke up to hundreds of ants crawling all over my bed!!! They then moved me into a room that was old and... More

We stayed two nights. Paid £68 per night for two including breakfast. This is a nice older style hotel. So much more comfortable than a lot of chain hotels which can be clinical and unfriendly. We arrived in the evening a little frazzled after a long journey. The parking is a little bit tight, but we were greeted by a... More

We stayed here recently with friends and their children. The hotel is in an excellent location-very close to the seafront and town so we could walk everywhere. The new management and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The kids loved the pool. Yes, the décor is a bit dated but the rooms were comfortable and clean and everything seemed to... More

Right from the beginning, we paid £30 per head for a night's B&B. We were on the island for a two day event and really only needed a bed for the night. The hotel is tired and a little bit dated and we had a couple of slighly unnerving soft-spots under the bathroom carpet. Otherwise, everything worked, it was immaculately... More

Ok, the hotel needed some improvements but it was clean, our bed was really comfortable and there was always loads of hot water. Everything you needed in the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of information available on the island and close to the beach and Old Village. The breakfast menu was limited but well cooked... More

I stayed there with my daugthers on a long week-end. It is a 3 stars hotel so had reasonable expectations. Yet, it eas hard not to be disheartened by the gloomy decor of the place (some rooms are better), the terrible breakfast (not a single thing is fresh - all ingredients are lowest quality possible), the creaky building (I got... Sadly this information only came tonight on booking in.. The room booked was not available.. Confusion reigns... Breakfast buffet was sparse.... Swimming pool and areas very poor.. Jacuzzi not working.. Sauna not working ... Swimming pool ..cool water ...... At this present time it is a base and a average bed and breakfast establishment... Tired .....
