We booked the Gracellie as a last minute booking to visit a family member (my sister in law) who was working on the Isle of Wight at the time. We booked about a week in advance, and were worried that everywhere would be full. However, we looked on the Gracellie website and found rooms for a bargain price- we paid... More

Have stayed at this hotel for the 8th time this weekend (15th to 17th Aug) along with our family this time too. Great friendly staff, clean and bright rooms, yummy cooked English breakfast along with the choice of various cereals and juices. The hotel is coming together nicely and the views are beautiful. Looking forward to our return in October.... More

During our stay at the hotel we were greated by a very friendly lady, and shown to our room. We noticed that the shower head wouldn't stay in place so I used a key to tighten the screw.!! The Breakfast throughout our stay was very good and tasty, but for the majority of our stay we were not welcomed into... More

On arriving, met in reception by a very cheerful young lady (who also served us our drinks at the bar as well as serving us breakfast)!! During our five night stay I only saw two working members of staff.Reported a faulty locking mechanism that held the shower head in position, duly noted but no action taken.Have you ever tried showering while... stayed for a couple of nights - found it a bit "grubby". Breakfast ok but the glasses and cutlery were not the cleanest. The glasses used at the bar were again mucky. I think their dishwasher doesn't rinse properly. Bed seemed clean but the room only had a bath - no shower or shower attachment on the bath. The staff... More

Went on a 5 day trip to Shanklin with National Holidays, and I would not recommend this hotel! The service was very poor, the younger employees had a bad attitude, the food was sub-standard and unappetizing, many other guests complained about the cooked breakfast, on our first night they did not have a table for a meal so even though...
