A small family run B&B... we were greeted with a big smile and welcoming man. Our room was small but comfortable... with a lovely ensuite bathroom. TV and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was nice. Cooked breakfast, veggie option available... yogurts, juices, tea and coffee, cereals. Would definitely return.

The location of BnB is 5 minutes from the Beach. Our room (No. 2) was clean and beautiful. Specially we liked the idea of separate small room for watching TV. Although bathroom was smaller than expected but was clean and tidy. The owners were nice and had warm welcome. The breakfast was delicious. The only issue faced was about hot water... More

Hello and thank you for taking the time to post a review. We're glad you liked the room and enjoyed your time with us and on the island. As you appeared to be quite young and inexperienced travellers there are a few points I'd like to respond to. The check-in and check-out times are very much what you would expect... More

Very nice 3 night stay at the richmond. Mark and Caz were very welcoming lovely couple. Bedroom/bathroom was lovely and clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a little to small for my partner but perfect for me. Only one negative would be the on site parking. Needs to bump up kerb not so friendly to the car. Other that that... More

Mark & Kaz are really welcoming, we had a very spacious room which was of high standard and lovely décor. Immaculately clean as was the dining room which served an excellent breakfast. Would definitely consider going back there. Very satisfied.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- our room (no. 6) had just been redone and had all the modcons necessary for a short visit, even though it was the "small room". Shops and other amenities are all close by. Many thanks to Mark and Caz for making us feel so welcome, and for the really great breakfast's we so enjoyed. Jan... More

Recently spent 4 nights at this b&b. Rooms were nicely decorated, only complaint here was the really small wardrobe (half the size of a single). Very clean, really comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water. Nice cooked breakfast. In a good position for walking to beach & the village where there are plenty of shops, pubs & eateries. Would recommend.

We booked a compact double room for two nights on a flying visit to Shanklin for a family birthday party. A warm welcome from Mark & Caz and a comfortable stay over the weekend. We needed an earlier breakfast on the departure day to allow time to catch the ferry and this was cheerfully arranged. We would not hesitate to... More

We enjoyed an excellent three-night stay in the Richmond. The situation is perfect as it is very close to the town centre and an easy walk to the Old Village. It is also within easy walking distance to the beach. Our room was very comfortable and clean and it had everything we needed. The best part of the stay, though,... More

My wife and I were looking for places to stay during our short stay in Shanklin, we came across the The Richmond. We had a three night stay planned for a little R&R, beach walks and fine food and wine. After a short drive down to the south coast we pulled up outside the The B&B and was pleased to... More
