We stopped here for the w/end for our thirtieth anniversary. Arrived on friday midday to monday mid afternoon. We were met by Phil who made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were very good. Full sized plates, not the normal small portions. The room was adequate and comfortable for the w/end. The onsuite was small but manageable. All in all,... More

We stayed at the Hazelwood the last week in August and had a terrific stay. We were made most welcome and the room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and we particularly liked the opportunity to choose a breakfast special on one of the mornings (smoked salmon and scambled eggs -yum!). Larger people might find the... My partner and I stayed at The Hazelwood for 2 nights and were thrilled from beginning to end. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived, shown to our room which was very comfortable. Small ensuite with a very pleasant shower; totally acceptable. The breakfast order for the next morning is taken on arrival - a... More

We stayed at Hazlewood the first week of the Easter Holidays and loved it. The rooms have magnificent high ceilings and are all uniquely decorated, clean and roomy. ( the en suite was a bit small but the shower offered lashings of hot water which made up for it). We had a very warm but un imposing welcome and enjoyed... More

We stayed here over August Bank Holiday weekend. Room was spacious overlooking rear garden. Breakfast was average compared to many places we have stayed in. Interesting decor in Lounge and Breakfast Room. Safe parking in the road outside.

We've been staying at The Hazelwood for a couple of years now and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Phil and Karl are so friendly and welcoming and have a very good knowledge of the island if you're new to visiting The Isle of Wight. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and the showers have instant hot water. The... More
