We have stayed at the Hambledon 3 times and really enjoyed every visit. The hotel is in a great location and Bill and Jackie are fantastic hosts. You're never short of a laugh when talking to them and they cannot do enough for you. The rooms are clean and very comfortable while for relaxing in the evening there is a... More

We have just had another wonderful stay at the Hambledon. Bill and Jackie are the perfect hosts. In the words of my 8yr old son, 'they are really nice and make you feel welcome', I couldn't agree more. The rooms are always clean and tidy. The food was wonderful and their staff are extremely helpful and professional. Making my mum... More

Stayed with Bill & Jackie for the second time in Sept for another walk around the island (The Hot Cross Bun this time). The hotel is a lovely clean, tidy, friendly and fun place to stay and the food is absolutely delicious. Good location too with Shanklin town and the beach only a couple of minutes walk away. Stayed at... More

You are made to feel welcome the minute you step through the door. The rooms have everything you need and are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very professional and friendly. The food is extremely good with a good choice. The hotel is near the beach and the town. This was our first trip to the Isle of Wight... More

We returned again to Bill and Jackie's brilliant hotel for our third organised walking holiday. This time we walked the 'Hot Cross Bun' route which is a 4 day adventure (North to South and East to West) centred on Carisbrooke Castle. The finish is a spectacular walk to the Needles across Tennyson Down. It has all been said before in... More

After our third stay at this little gem of a hotel, things just keep getting better. Jackie and Bill know just how to make a stay so perfect, there when you want them, but otherwise you are just left to enjoy your stay . Superb food, friendly and efficient staff and clean and inviting rooms. Always made to feel so... More

We booked this hotel on the recomendation of others, and were not disapointed. A small friendly hotel with off street parking. Bill the host made you welcome from the word go, he offered tea or coffee within minutes of arriving. The rooms were basic but very well maintained with own bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and most importantly they were clean. We... More

What a lovely hotel made extra special by Bill and Jackie. We've stayed here for two weeks each summer for the last few years and time and time again we've had yet another fabulous holiday. The food is lovely and plentiful, and the rooms are spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the hotel. Bill hosts the bar and always... More
