I thoroughly recommend this place. Excellent location. Clean room with towels replaced daily. My room was very quiet. Superb breakfast with a choice of cereals/yoghurts plus the full English of course. Use of a residents TV lounge which you rarely find in B&Bs these days. Friendly owner,Mick, who was happy to advise me on some local knowledge I needed. My only... More

Stayed here on our costal path walk. Arrived really early as very poor weather, we were made very welcome by the owners. We were soaking wet, with lots of wet kit so they turned the heating on and made no fuss with us draping wet clothes in the shower etc. the room was large, clean and comfortable if a little... More

we stayed here for 2 nights and on our arrival were kept waiting in the hallway while the owner finished putting stuff away. He could have offered us a seat in the lounge and a coffee. The place is terribly outdated but it is clean. Our bed was awful, like sleeping on the floor. The place was clean though and... More

We looked forward to visiting the Isle of Wight for 2 nights before returning to NZ. We were going to... More

Clean white fluffy towels every day, breakfast cooked just the way I like it, as a single traveller I was delighted to be given a double room. Mick booked my ferry crossing for me AND rang to change the time of the return at no extra charge. Good value for money, Yes recommended Mary Smith

I wouldn't even give this hotel half a star as it is so bad. It is filthy dusty smelly and musty. I don't think any windows have been opened in the last 10 years. Full of artificial plants silk flowers and jars of marbles all of which are covered in six months worth of dust. The décor may have been... More
