Stayed here for one night only. Friendly greeting and shown around hotel. Large rooms downstairs and comfortable chairs etc. Small bar for anyone wishing to have a drink. Bedroom was adequate but bed very low and mattress was not too supportive. Did not like to use the shower as tray could have done with a clean. Possibly just tired shower... More

Girlfriend and I spent three nights over autumn half term. We had a great room. Small bathroom but plenty of space in the “living area”. Staff are really friendly and professional. Parking is no problem so long as everyone is sensible. Breakfast, with waitress service, is a joy. Full English for me and vegetarian for my girlfriend. Cooked and served... More

Good location for Shanklin and the accommodation is comfortable and reasonably priced (if you don't take breakfast) and there is a lounge to sit in. The walls are very thin and noise can be heard throughout. If you're up first in the morning the hot water takes a very long time to come on (more than 10 minutes). Parking is... More

Facilities and room were very good for the price. Staff were welcoming and helpful; we had a guided tour before being led to our room. Lovely cooked breakfast was served quickly, even though we arrived before allocated breakfast time due to work commitments. Would stay again if visiting Shanklin!

1. You cant even arrive at the hotel to keep your bags before the checkin time - since the hotel is left completely unmanned from 10.30 to 1.30 2. When we pointed this out,, that someone should be there - not to provide rooms before check in time - but only to allow travelers from far to keep bags and... More

Arrived at the hotel and met by a very friendly welsh man, that showed us around, which was nice then he showed us to our room and it went down hill from there! He gave us room 6 on first sight it looked ok, then we went in to the bathroom, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. The... More

Most aspects of my stay were very good. Nice greeting, shown to room. Good breakfast. Yes room was very small but I expected that from previous reviews. What I really needed was a good nights sleep - the whole reason for booking a nights accommodation. However the guests in the next room were not quiet in their "activities" and I... More

This was the 3rd year that we had a short break at the hotel. It's in a quiet location but within 10 minutes walk of the old-town. The dining room is bright & airy. Breakfast's are excellent and waitress served. The lounge is comfortably furnished. The rooms at the rear of the hotel are reasonably furnished but just a little... More

My friend Jill and I stayed in a twin for 6 nights. The room was nicely decorated and well equipped with TV, tea making facilities and hair dryer. Nice bathroom with lovely shower. It's ideally located within 5 minutes from Shanklin. It has a car park and there is a bus stop directly outside the Hotel. Breakfast was good with... More
