Terrific deal of Dinner ,bed, breakfast AND a bottle of wine [ not cheap Prosecco that you have to drink in one go ] Staff were so helpful and welcoming, allowing us to park and check in early as we had a Brewery tour booked. We had room 10... huge room, great bed and bathroom, good view towards the coast,... More

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Could benefit from a bit of a makeover as it is looking quite scruffy and dated. A lot of traffic noise in room on the street side of Dunbar. Window curtain hanging off at one side, very high up. Old style TV with limited programmes and no DVD. WiFi only available in some public areas.... More

This hotel is located very close to the centre of Dunbar. In terms of access to the centre this is great but there is considerable traffic noise. This isn't helped by the lack of double glazing. When I arrived, the smell of cooking was very strong although this did fade. The parking is very limited but I was warned of... More

Not been to this place in a couple of years, so thought we would give it a try. The staff were attentive and friendly. Plenty choice on the menu. I had the brie, monkfish and cheesecake. All we very tasty and well presented. Reasonable prices and no negatives to report here. I didn't stay in the hotel, so can't comment... More

Lovely pub / hotel serving food - recommended by patrons in bar but I didn't have an evening meal. Breakfast was top notch, room comfortable, lovely bath - shower was a bit leaky. Couldn't fault the place - excellent staff. Bikes locked away indoors.

Have just returned from golf trip to North Berwick/Dunbar area during which we stayed at the Royal Mackintosh. Whilst some of the decoration is a bit dated this is more than compensated for by the group of girls who provided excellent service throughout our stay. What a pleasant change from the sterile environment and robo staff of the modern hotel... More
