We stayed one night at Thorntonloch House with my parents, so had two rooms booked. Both rooms were decorated to an amazingly high standard, and in fact, the entire house was gorgeous. An excellent spot to stay just out of Dunbar, a large and well appointed room. One of the best full breakfasts we've had at a B&B. Highly Recommended. more

this a a second stay, i never want to go home .... excellent rooms.........excellent breakfast.......... couldn't be more helpful... rooms large with excellent ensuite...... will be returning for a lovely relaxing break by the sea with great views.............. more

I just can say that our stay there was excelent! amazing! IT COULDN´T BE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!! and I mean that: IT WAS PERFECT! our double room was like a 5 start hotel! incredible views of the beach and the gardens..jacuzzi in the bathroom!!everything white and golden, like a honeymoon room! : ) the staff was incredible nice, and I would like... more

Wow! Definitely a secret gem. (Well, it seemed secret to us, as we had the entire house to ourselves, but the owners insisted it was busier during the week...).
