It is a real shame that this hotel has been left to run down so much! Our bedroom decor was stuck in the 1980s especially the bathroom! I felt like I had walked into a care home! In general the whole place needs a great amount of money spending on it. If you are a young/ middle aged couple and... More

This is a very well located and very clean traditional hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately our recent stay for one week in July was tarnished by several faults. It was very difficult to turn on the shower in our bathroom since the mixer tap is faulty. This was reported but was not repaired and we continued to struggle... More

Really lovely stay for 5 nights. What makes this place stand out is standard of the hospitality. Very friendly staff across the board, all of whom went out of their way to ensure that you felt looked after. The rooms are comfortable and of good quality, the price good, and the views fantastic! Would recommend, and will visit again.

As a group of four 40-somethings we stayed for one night to celebrate a 40th birthday. The staff are fabulous and are very friendly and make the hotel. Thankfully we all have a sense of humour for the rest of the experience. Rooms are a tad dated but clean so no issue - but are unbelievably hot. Woke up bathed... More

This hotel really caters for the more mature holidaymaker and boy it does a great job. Second time I have stayed and both times I loved it. Brilliant breakfast, clean tidy rooms and a terrace with a stunning view of Torbay to boot. If you just want to chill out and relax then I couldn't recommended it more.

This is the second time we have been here for a short break & were impressed on both occasions. It's a lovely, well mannered, some would say old fashioned establishment, but if that's what you like-you can't go wrong. Have had lovely rooms with stunning sea views both times. Staff are extemely polite & helpful & the breakfasts were lovely.... More

Stayed at the Redcliffe Hotel Thursday through to Saturday. Lovely Hotel - quite old fashioned but by no means tatty. Rang and made a late booking was told that we would be staying in the Tower. The room was a decent size very clean, nice sea view. I am led to believe that other rooms are larger and my advice... More

We paid £137 for a family room which was tired & outdated. I would normally expect white linen but instead had something that looked like curtain material .... Not even duvets on beds only sheet blanket & ugly throw. No air con room was boiling but couldn't leave window open due to location !! Breakfast was dreadful !! Apparently only... More
