We had a lovely large room on the ground floor No 5 with huge bay windows - would love this room in the summer months but although heated not suffiicient heat for a room this size - at night it... more

The lady concerned with this incident is no longer employed at the Hotel. The group did enjoy the remainder of their stay and left us with many compliments regarding the food and other staff members.

Hotel is very friendly, the staff are very obliging and the food very good. Good location away from the noise of the seafront but close enough to enjoy a stroll along the prom. Would definately go back. more

We arrived for a Friday to Monday break on two coaches of about 68 people. The hotel was situated up a hill in a quiet residential area. The staff at the hotel were friendly with the exception of one or two who seemed to think everything was an effort. The food was ok but the portions were small. The rooms... more

I have just got back from a 4 night stay with my daughter and two grandchildren and congratulate the owners and staff on a great break. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff from the domestic {Maureen} to the Waitress {Bev} were always cheerful and willing to sort out any requests. The Hotel is handy for the Seafront and... more

I found the hotel comfortable and affordable. Food was good service excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shops easy walking distance and sea 5 minutes away. The only thing I would change is the dinner time which was at six much too early for me. more

Torbay Court was in a good location close to the town centre and ideally placed for the calming seafront. However for once the "location, location , location" motto must be ignored!! The hotel room was cold, jackets were required in the evening. The decor was unique to this century, you need to watch UK Gold or the History Channel to... more
