Just returned from a fabulous 3 nights at the cosmopolitan. Possibly the most up market B&B we have ever stayed in. Piers is a gentleman who has a vested interest in his livelyhood and does not want to leave anything to chance. My girlfriend booked this b&b for us to stay in as it was her Nan’s birthday and many of her family were going to be in Paignton. The hotel was very clean and had a decent breakfast. We are a 29/ 30 year old couple who were visiting Paignton to attend my Grandmother's 80th birthday party. We don't smoke and are both responsible adults who spend at least one weekend a month in a hotel. Very clean hotel the nicest we have stayed in. Piers the owner or manager whatever he is was the rudest most arrogant man ive ever met. He was very unwelcoming and treated us like kids. Would recomend the hotel but not with Piers still there more
The Cosmopolitan provides quality accommodation for discerning guests who respect our high standards. Unfortunately a member of this reviewer's group illegally smoked in their room during their stay. We are a 100% non-smoking establishment. Smokers who respect the law, and the policies of The Cosmopolitan, are welcome. Those who do not, are not.
Stayed at the Cosmpolitan for a night, and will quite happily stay there again. The owners, Piers and Miki, were wonderful hosts. They really couldn't do enough for their guests.
