I've just returned from a very enjoyable weekend, staying at the Torbay Sands. It's in a great spot, very peaceful and overlooking the sea. It's very clean and the owners are very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended. more

We had a fabulous holiday yet again! Carol and Martin, the new Proprietors, make you feel very welcome from the minute you step through the front door to the minute you leave and nothing is too much trouble for them, they are excellent hosts. Having seen the reviews of this hotel I was very apprehensive about my stay. Thankfully I was told that there were new owners as of august 2006 and may I say what fantastic hosts they were. Martin and Carol Aston took over the hotel last year in august and are currently in the process of redecorating most rooms. We stayed... more
