Elly and Steve recently took over the Rowcroft Lodge and although they are relatively newcomers to B&B ownership, you would never have guessed. They couldn't have done more to have made our stay pleasurable. Super location, a really great couple, lovely clean home and excellent breakfasts...what more could you ask for.

A very enjoyable brief 2 night family break. Steve and Ellie were very welcoming and friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is nicely situated opposite a park and a stone's throw from the sea. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of extra tea and toast if required.

we went for three nights with our dog, sorry to say but the room was very small, bed uncormfortable with old pillows and the room was a bit smelly i understand that this was the room that guests could take their dog but it could have smelt a bit fresher..... the owners where lovely a breakfast was ok
