The first evening meal was spoiled when we all had to queue outside the dinging room door llike naughty schoolboys, and wait to be allocated a table number, which was 'our' table for the rest of the stay. The waitress seemed upset when we changed places during the week and used different chairs but kept our allotted table! The first night, just after we had been served our first course, a photographer arrived and we were all 'encouraged' to poise for snaps, which we were invited to purchase later in the week. Once the photographer had departed, we were quickly confronted with a very loud and pushy young woman, whos aim was to ensure we visited the local theatrical production later in the week. Many people were talking amongst themselves and so the young woman literally ended up shouting at us all to attract our attention!
