Although the owner is very helpful and looking for solutions, you'd have to like this sort of hotel. A bit shabby, very noisy, heavy smell of some sort of room perfume and very small rooms. We booked through Expedia and they selected juist a double room while we are travelling with 2 teenagers. Basically that's where it went wrong in... More

We were sorry this Dutch family were unhappy with their accommodation. They booked their accommodation via Expedia & although they were travelling as two adults & two teenage children they had been allocated by the agent a family room with a double bed & a single bed in it. After juggling rooms about we were able to accommodate them by... More

I stayed here for 3 nights for a trip to Paignton. The Bronte was In a fantastic location for the seafront, literally 2 mins walk away. The area was also fairly quiet and felt safe in the evenings. The room was larger then expected with plenty of storage space, the bed was comfortable but we did find the pillows a... More

The Bronte is a lovely place and owners Paul and Gail were so kind to us. We are OAPs with limited mobility and nothing was too much trouble for them - Thank you both for a lovely stay and we will be back in early autumn - Doug and Sue.

Booked 4 nights for our first family holiday. Arrived slightly early and greeted warmly by Paul & Gail. Very understanding of our 2 year old's tantrums. Made us all feel very welcome, our room suited our needs perfectly and at a great price too. Guest living room and dining room available as well as computers & free wifi. We had... More

Just down in Paignton from Poole for the weekend, needed a basic B&B, but got a very pleasant surprise. Clean, very friendly (Paul the boss - ex-Navy, helpful, lovely, great breakfasts!), rooms small but very ergonomically kitted with everything you could want - we stayed in & had a picnic in the room watching telly!... Easy to get to &... More

Friendly. Good breakfast. Well located. Great value. Couldn't ask for a lot more ! Places to eat nearby but stop serving food stupidly early! Bronte great base for English riviera. Parking available on site short walk to beach and town. 24 hour access. Recommended. Will stay there again when I next visit. Large lounge and vending machine plus tea and... More

hi just stayed here, ok B & B, close to pier however was shocked to be advised once arrived that if you want breakfast in this B & B they charge you extra £5 per person, of which I would assume would be in the original paid price online!
