My son and I have just returned from a fabulous weekend in Paignton. Blue Waters lodge where we stayed was just wonderful. Everything we needed was there, even footballs and buckets and spades for my 6 year old. It's clear that Jackie and Colin are very passionate about their lodge, but more so the people that visit. When we visited... More

A lovely friendly spotlessly clean b@b, nothing was too much trouble for them, they even took out an elderly couple for a few hours as it had rained the previous few days, so how kind was that eh. I had to reduce the size of my breakfasts as they were far too big for me. Very close to the sea... More

We arrived at the B&B to a lovely, friendly welcome, we even had fresh flowers in our room, as Jackie was aware we should of been in a different part of the world at the time and wanted to cheer us up. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, which was maintained throughout our stay. Breakfeast was fantastic each day,... More

We stayed here for 4 days from 20th June 2014. An excellent little B&B ideally situated for both town and beach. The rooms are nicely decorated, extremely clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are first class. The proprietors Colin and Jackie are lovely people, most welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay special. Their... More

After a long drive there, Jackie & Colin welcomed us like we were old friends, they did all they could to make our stay feel as though it was a home away from home, at breakfast there was a large selection and the cooked food was exellent. we had the family rooms and they were both very clean, with some... Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The saying met as strangers, left as friends springs to mind. Nothing to much trouble. Jackie and Colin were perfect hosts. Very clean and bright bedroom and breakfast was fantastic served again in a very clean dining area. Will stay here again. Can not recommend highly enough.

Turned up 5 hours early on the 16th May 2014 thinking maybe we could just drop our bags off and come back when the room was ready. We should not have worried as not only were the 2 rooms ready for us but we were treated like long lost family by both Jackie and Colin, the rooms were of outstanding... More

Jackie and Colin are excellent hosts - warm, friendly, helpful - providing details of eateries they could personally recommend. Jackie joined us with enjoying an evening take-away delivered to the door as though family! Colin is happy to the Full English Breakfast offered, particularly as we only wanted a lighter breakfast before our departure. The rooms were clean, light and... More
