No disabled rooms, we knew that when we booked... don't try and order room service, closes at 9:00 even if you phone at 3 min past for a sandwich. The room was like an oven, bed was bad... gone, flat and very uncomfortable. The best thing though was when we come out of the room for breakfast... the lift was... More

My husband and I visited here last night and opted for the two for £20 which includes a bottle of wine. The wine arrived straight away the food took about 20 minutes which was fine. My husband had the steak and ale pie which he said was very nice I opted for the hunters chicken which was not bad to... More

I visit the Park Hotel frequently for a drink and have observed customers allowing their children to run wild. When challenged by staff they take offence by being asked to control them. Indeed some customers have been asked not to return because of their lack of control - their response? A negative Trip Advisor report. This is not a hotel... More

Decided to eat before going on the motorway. Prefer this to do this rather than eat at the services. Nice welcome. My husband enjoyed his Chicken in a wrap with chips and onion rings. Mine on the other hand was a disappointment. I had Steak and Ale pie. One of my favourites, not this time. The pastry was really soggy. So... More

Last minute decision to laze in the beer garden for late lunch was a great move. The menu was fantastic - loads of choice and when a party of nine with a variety of meals all think it's lovely then you're onto a winner - sweet potato fries and haloumi salad was especially delicious. Friendly service and fab beer garden

Visited on a Sunday evening. Came with my Fiancee and Mother-in-law to be as she had visited several times. On arrival (1700) we were told that there was a 30 minute wait to be seated. As it was Sunday, we accepted this and took the head waitresses advice to grab a drink and wait to be seated. As we sat... More
